Inner Mongolia Bin Yue Hotel

I didn't expect a lot before I checked in there but this hotel offered me a full of warm hospitality throughout the stay. I stayed in the end of June and the weather in Hohhot was still very dry, they provided a glass of milk every night and some Chinese soup (good for throat) for a couple of nights with a handwritting message by a housekeeper to advise me to take the soup and plenty of water. Although the hotel is a bit old, the entire facilities are well maintained and tidy. I'm very satisfied the in-room facility as wifi speed was much faster than normal Chinese hotels, bathroom space is wide with a bathtub, a big desk and chair, the bed was comfortable for sleep, etc. Cons, only a couple of staff speak English at the front desk (a female senior manager speaks English very well), not so interesting neighbourhood and eateries, and the location - it will take 10 - 20 mins to reach the CBD area by a cab. Overall, it was a great value and highly recommended. Tips: No one in Hohhot knows this hotel called Pinnacle hotel in English. 宾悦大酒店 is the name in Chinese.
