12 reviewsA couple in the group got lost late afternoon/ evening... they were too engrossed in the big emporium furniture shop...somehow, their phone battery died, and all hell broke loose..... by sheer luck, we found them.. by retracing our steps, back 2 hours.. They were waiting at the main door of the furniture shop,( we left 2 hrs earlier). It was too late to go back to the apartment, 2 hrs away, so, saw a hotel , and decided to stay the nite( no luggage etc), have something to eat, and plan for tomorrow!,, The Dancing Rays Hotel looked ok.. 3 rooms.. the interior looked ok. Reasonably clean.. but the rooms, blew us away.... a triple sized room????? But we had no luggage to store!! King sized Bed, comfy.. shower, hot water, very good... clean towels.. new toiletries etc.. Price...told it was cheap... deducted from the Central Kitty( everyone contributed RMB 3000.. for all meals, travel, mini bus etc.. personal purchases exempt!) But, all we wanted was a bed for the nite....it was worth it!!! Service... (nothing needed.. as no luggage etc... ). 6/10 Cleanliness... no complaints..looked clean.......7/10 Value.... 7.5/10 if the” treasurer “ says that it’s cheap, who can be bothered to ask, HOW????
