Hanting Hotel Dalian Olympic Square

We booked the Hanting at Olympic Square taking a big chance paying the whole month up front. Cost for 28 nights was under £400 - and that included breakfast! Hotel was immaculate throughout with new towels every day and bed linen every second or third day. Lovely crisp sheets and duvet and really good pillows. Piping hot shower water at all times and kettle provided. Iron available if requested Free of charge. Super efficient Air Conditioning unit in the room. A major plus for this hotel for us Brits is there is a large Wallmart Store about 6-7 minutes walk away and they have all sorts of Foods available in the Food Hall. We tried them all I think - all very cheap - dinner for tow was about £3 - £5 maximum per night. The furniture in the rooms and the sanitaryware in the bathroom all look to be very new indeed - no chips or knocks. We had one incident with the cistern starting to overflow and the maintenance man was there and fixed it within 5 minutes! We were only British in hotel the whole time and staff made us feel very comfortable - guests are virtually all Chinese generally staying one or two nights. One important point the staff were really so nice from the Manager down to Reception, Waitresses and our lovely Chambermaid.
