Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Kaidi

Location is very near to the HSR station - about 10 minutes away. Though there is no airport to connect, the HSR can bring you to Nanjing or Shanghai in just about two hours. Transport from hotel to areas within the city was easily available and very economical. The hotel has a very nice cozy ambience and a very large lobby area. Reception staff were very courteous and helpful with directions to move about in the city. The F&B servings were rather generous. The rooms were large with comfortable beddings. Room service was also pleasant but closing time was too early (should be 24 hours). Guests who return after midnight can't find food if they are hungry. Perhaps, can improve with the inclusion of in-house amenities like a 24-hour coffee house (can be common kitchen to serve room service F&B) and an extended hours music lounge with 'live' music. Inclusion of a disco or KOK lounge can attract more business travelers to this hotel. Only one negative feedback - the Spa services pricing is too exorbitant. The pricing is way above even some 4-5* hotels in Shanghai. My business group was well served by the hotel staff (Lisa) appointed to look after my delegation. The hotel rate was very attractive for such a good class hotel. My Chuzhou branch has decided to sign a corporate rate deal with the hotel. Overall, I shall rate it a 4 out of 5 for this hotel.
