We arrived at Yichang East Railway Station and took the bus nr. 68 to Shenzhen Road. We asked several passengers by showing around our smart phone with the address in Chinese to know where we had to get out. We stayed there for two nights at a reasonable price of about 125 yuan per night. The room was clean. Breakfast for 15 yuan extra per person was huge. You can choose from a buffet with soup, noodles, vegetables with meat and/or just simple toast and jam, fried eggs etc. The staff as usual in this price class does not speak any English but we did not need much from them. We asked them once how to get to the Three Gorges Dam and they told us the bus numbers. Laundry service is expensive so we postponed that until our next destination.
