2 reviewsThere is a bit of a trick to finding this hotel, as the address is exactly the same as for the Ramada. While both hotels are in the same complex (there is also an entertainment venue), the Meilin is round the corner on Longkang Road. My room was not quite as high as the previous reviewer's and lacked a washing mashine (but there was a sachet of washing powder in amongst the rather strange collection of condoms), but it did have a rather nice balcony with a big red velvet moon chair. I did eventually get the PC in the room connected (there is no wifi) and it had this curious widget giving various choices of Chinese and English words as I typed, rather than directly entering the text on the screen. I found the room as a whole was well set up and comfortable, and was not troubled by street noise. The front office staff was a bit limited when it comes to English (the person on duty when I arrived stopped another staff member who was obviously off to a party so she could check me in) but were helpful.
