Unlike the other hotels I stayed in on my Tour of China my room in the Jin Tone was fairly small and cluttered, but it was clean, quiet and perfectly adequate for a 2 night stay. Any hotel that enables you to experience the Face Changing Show, the Great Buddha of Leshan and the Giant Panda Research Base has to be OK

Servicable if not spectacular

We had a 2 night stay here as part of a Wendy Wu China Delights tour. One of the poorer hotels we stayed at as part of this tour. Room was not very clean and was very cold. The hotel rooms have a poor layout where they are kind of divided into two (the bedroom and the bathroom) as you can see from the hotel room pictures. The air conditioning/heating unit is in the bedroom which means the heat does not circulate to the bathroom area so the bathroom area was very cold (our stay was in November). So this meant having to have a shower in a cold area (not great...). This was also  not helped by the cleaners who opened the windows during the day which made the rooms colder. Why do they do this?? Plus the windows was single glazed which meant there was a lot of traffic noise etc.   On the more positive side the breakfast was OK and  they did have some Western food if the Chinese food was not to your taste.

An OK hotel with decent clean rooms that are a little faded. Ok for an overnight stop prior to visiting the Panda Research Base. 
Breakfast was ok but nothing special.

Ok for an overnight stopover

Here for one night on tour, not fantastic. Room very tired but clean. Breakfast was average. Limited bar service ie beer and soft drinks, no wine .Catered for a one night stopover but would look for another hotel if staying longer

One night stopover

Stayed here for 2 nights while seeing the Pandas. Bed was softer than previous hotels. Room compact. Luggage rack was half the size so if you could balance your suitcase you couldn't open it. 😂. Wardrobe was the same width as the luggage rack so you could hang anything in it and close the door. 
No air con working there were controls in room not an issue you can open windows. 2nd night we came back to see fans on the floor in the passageway appears carpets may have been cleaned. 
Woke up after a couple of hours sleep with burning lips nose & throats watering eyes. OMG this stuff stinks and tastes like chemicals. No point in raising with front desk no English or Chinglish. Give this hotel a miss. Pandas 🐼 were great.
