I recently stayed at ZHI Resort in Beijing and was pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and nature-filled it is — right in the center of the city! The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and even has its own forest and several large ponds. The views are absolutely beautiful and very calming perfect if you need a break from the city noise. One of the most unique features is the mini-zoo on-site. You’ll find capybaras, alpacas, deer, monkeys, peacocks, and a wide variety of birds, including parrots and doves. It’s an ideal spot for families with kids — lots to see and explore! The resort also offers natural hot springs and a large, beautiful swimming pool. There’s a nice restaurant that bakes its own bread (which was delicious!), and both breakfast and dinner are served in cozy, well-designed dining spaces. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to unwind in nature — without leaving Beijing.
