The rooms were quite run down but cleanliness was good. Cleans towels toiletries and working showers. Location was good, within walking distance to Tian An Men Square, but it is located on a tiny little side street that no taxi driver knows. Always good to have taxi driver call hotel to give direction if you are arriving for the first time. After that just take the hotel direction card with you and you can tell taxi drivers to drop you off at the railway museum. There is a small tuck shop across hotel selling water, drinks and snack. There are KFC and Mac Donald's nearby. And the walking street is within walking distance, which means Starbucks and many other shops are easily available. 2 famous Peking roast ducks Quan Ju De are within walking distance too. Good value for money for the location, if u don't mind it being a tad run down.
