So colourful and relaxing! Beds were super soft, staff friendly even though I didn't speak much Spanish. The location is good less than 10 minutes from the main square which meant that it was nice and quiet.

Nice, basic, family-run hostel, with cute resident dog

- very good wifi
- Really cool outdoor communal space which was regularly used by all, and very social
- Regularly cleaned
- Good showers, hot and with good pressure
- A little out town, but a 5-10 minute walk in at tops
- Small kitchen, only big enough for 1-2 to use at one time
- staff had very limited English. Spanish and French speaking.
- Expensive for what you get (ie a bed, no breakfast) but this seems standard for San Pedro
- Would recommend!

Basic, clean family-run hostel

Beautiful!

Very small dorms. The bathrooms were dirty (eg.no toilet brush available) or the water takes too long to go down in the shower. The place needs maintenance although it is beautifully painted. The kitchen also needed a good clean and the fact that after showering you have to walk through soil/ dust to get to your dorm :/ But the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks.

Buen lugar para quedarse por un precio justo. Más de un ambiente de habla española que inglés cuando estuve allí. La chica que trabaja allí fue bastante útil. Pero las sábanas de mi cama se usaron y no se habían limpiado, había pelo, hojas rotas, etc. ... no es tan difícil lavar las sábanas ...

OK place to stay for a fair price. More of a Spanish speaking vibe than English when I was there. The girl working there was quite helpful. But the sheets in my bed were used and had not been cleaned, there was hair, broken leaves etc .....it is not that difficult to wash the sheets.....

No – just no.
This Hostel is the worst, well the people working there are.
My girlfriend and me booked to stay there during February. But as there was a national catastrophe (flood) going on, we watched the news every day if it maybe would get better. 
But no. It was dangerous there and even the president declared there is a catastrophe. So what do you do?
You call there and ask if they can give you a refund. They said no. Their reason was it stopped raining. 
Like yes. It stops raining and everything is safe and sound again. Load of BS. They argued there is no catastrophe and they can only refund us if there was, but since it stopped raining there was no catastrophe anymore. After a while going back and forth and we telling them that even the president declared there is a catastrophe they hung up on us.
So be aware – soulless and  stupid people work there. 10/10 would NOT recommend
