The family owned and operated hostel is clean, well maintained, non-smoking. The lady-owner is very friendly and helpful. Built in thick adobe walls the hostel offers 6 rooms around a nice patio. Free parking at the gated property. The hostel has a nice patio and guests can use the kitchen. In the kitchen you find bottled water, coffee & tea, etc. In the cosy annex lounge you find a wood-stove and Wi-Fi internet. Our practical room was adequately decorated and furnished, with a bunk bed and a surprisingly good double bed. The room had a chair, wardrobe & a seating in the window. We got a butane-gas heater, which was nice in the chilly evening. We had a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet and shower. Windows can be opened and have mosquito screens. The breakfast is good with ample variety and eggs made to order. We recommend Casa Redonda to anyone who seeks a good night’s sleep in a most quiet part of San Pedro.
