Hostel Patacon

The staff were super friendly. We were able to check in early and got a free room upgrade. Bed was clean and comfortable with extra blankets to fight the cold. Breakfast was included and delicious. It could use a bit of refurbishment. It is a short walk to all the important parts of town and near the lake. I would stay again.

I hardly stay in hostels, but because the hotel I was staying was fully booked as I wanted to extend 1 more night, I checked myself into Hostel Patacon. I had the single room. Did not expect the single room to be a shoe box size. It was extremely tiny. Thank god the room was clean.

The bathroom was next to my room, so I could hear people walking in and out of the toilet, in addition to guests taking a crap late at night.

The bathroom was tiny and dirty. It was a quick dash in and out for me.

The common room was very untidy. 

The owner was friendly, smiley and helpful and because of that, I am giving this hostel a 3 star instead of 1.
