We stayed at Chez Hiva recently and I have to say, we couldn’t fault it. Our first time we had a large room with en suite, the second time we had the smallest room - both were perfect for our needs. The owner, Delphine, is a lovely lady who will help you any way she can, her English Language is excellent and we found absolutely no problem with communication regarding our stays. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and fresh and I wouldn’t hesitate staging there again. Delphine is having more rooms built and a proper reception area, we wish her well with the renovations and hope she’s blessed with the best of customers!

All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country.
