The unit is beautiful & offers a great stay yet we found it to be misrepresented in a slight way in regards to cleanliness & condition. It is an older apartment so please keep that in mind. There was a very strong, unpleasant smell (we all noticed, family of 5), when coming into the unit. It seems to be coming from the stairwell/hall by the kitchen. Water damage to the ceilings (top floor unit, #4) in bathroom (the worst in the apartment) & in the master bedroom. AC unit yet didn’t cool down the whole apartment & couldn’t open the master bedroom window due to having no screen. Dirty areas that have been overlooked by cleaning staff had us question just how well the unit is cleaned. We felt the need to take photos of these unclean areas so that we can get back the $250 dep. & not be thought of as having dirtied the unit ourselves. Overall, a great place to stay for your time in the City yet for the price & deposits paid, better open communication would be nice about these “areas of concern”.
