As anyone reading these reviews will surmise, people either love or hate Pimblett's B&B. I am obviously in the "love" corner! One person's perception of "clutter" is another person's perception of quaint and interesting. Geoffrey, John and their Doberman are all delightful. I have stayed here numerous times. If you want the Hilton with modern conveniences, then book at the Hilton! Some folks also complained about noise during the night, with one even mentioning unexplained shaking of the bed. Guess what? There is a resident ghost! I had direct experience with her and was told about her when I inquired if the house might be haunted. She is the previous owner of the property and was very close to Geoffrey. She can be a bit mischievous, but doesn't harm anyone. I am not put off by the Cabbage Town location either. If you are a nervous Nellie, afraid of an occasional homeless person or vagrant, then perhaps Cabbage Town is not for you. If you decide to enjoy this unique B&B, be certain to watch "Cooking with the Queen" first on YouTube, featuring your host Geoffrey!
