How can I give 0 stars? In all the motels I've been to in my life, this one was the worst!

I understand that this is a cheap motel, so I expected it to look sketchy, have vintage bedding & possible dirty floors, but I didn't expect it to be THIS bad! The service & standards here are horrific, surprised the place is still open.

The bar was already low for me:
I was ok with the sketchy exterior (peeling paint & taped up cracked windows). 
I was ok with the hallways having exposed insulation (“reno in progress”).
I was ok with the TV not working (didn’t expect it to at this point).
I was even ok when our room heavily smelled of smoke in a non smoking room & the owner said there’s nothing he could do about it. 
And I was still ok when I asked what time breakfast was & he said sorry because of covid, we haven’t had breakfast since (So they haven’t updated their listing in 2 years? Expedia still lists as breakfast included). He didn’t seem concerned.
But what did it for me was how DIRTY the towels were. Not only were they stained & you can still see the food on it, but the foot towel had a GIANT HOLE in it as well as large yellow stains— how is this acceptable?? I’m pretty sure the owners themselves wouldn’t stay here, how could they expect anyone to? Absolutely appalled.

Overpriced for 70! I did NOT get what was advertised & I was NOT ok with how the staff handled the problems. I rather keep my health safe & sleep in the car!

If you are looking for a pet free room you won't get that here. I booked a room for my daughter and her 2 kids and their cat for 1 night and I also booked a room for my friends who were coming to visit and told them they want a smoke free, pet free room, low and behold they were put into the exact same room my daughter had with the cat. My friends took pictures and the carpet and baseboards were filthy, will not be booking here again unless this all changes. They upgraded the beds and washrooms but nothing else.

Cheaper is not better. We saw there was 1 room left on hotels.com so assumed it was a decent hotel. There was no cold water tap on the sink. The bathroom tub looked like it was from the 1950's. Definitely not re modelled. TV did not work. Beds and pillows were old and very soft. Continental breakfast had a jug of milk on a table, not on ice or kept cold. Looked around the old bar/kitchen area that they use as storage and it stunk badly almost to the point of making me throw up. Would never stay there again as long as I live, and would pay the extra $20-$30 to stay at a more expensive hotel.Do not stay here, you will be disappointed.As in the morning there was only our car and 1 other so feel we were mislead on hotels.com as well.

Cheaper is not Better!

I stayed there in 2010 and it has deteriorated somewhat. Certainly not renovated like the sign says. Floor was muddy when we got to our room so that was a bit unnerving. Check in was slow. TV didn't work the whole time we were there and they couldn't fix it. Didn't seem like they cared a whole bunch. Breakfast was not a big deal (nothing fancy which was fine). Best thing about the place was the wifi was excellent. Probably choose another spot next time. 

You get what you pay for I guess 

It a nice place to stay in price is cheep. Everyone can bash this motel all u want what do u think ull get for $100. My wife and I have been here twice and I like it here sure there's a few things wrong with it. But name me one place that has not 1 thing wrong with there hotel

Ok place to stay

I was on a road trip to BC and stayed at this hotel..
I didn't like it at all..
We arrived a little later and where the only ones in the hotel.
The bathrooms wer disgusting.
Pubic hair on the walls and ceiling in the bathtub.. Also the floor on in the corners dust and hair.
The beds were ok.. breakfast next day was ... ok.. I don't know how old the milk was..
The table and everything you touched was dirty..
It is a nice hotel but needs  a major cleaning.. and maintain it clean...
I mean your running a hospitality business.. being clean is a big part of it.
