Easy to find; nice little house; clean bedroom, and sheets: Quiet; lots of deer's:  Older house but well loved:  There is a lovely friendly feel:  There was only & washroom,; but it was well maintained:  Great views of mountains

An simple house, nothing fancy, great viewns, nice locaton.  Olympic mountain views, nice sun deck, htere was enough parking, staff were friendly.  Sheets were clean, duvet was nice. Three is only bathroom for the house, so that is a limitation.

Nice simple place

I agree with the previous reviewer. I can only imagine the 5 star review was for a different establishment. The house is old but could be okay value for the price if it was clean. The Mountainview room is large and has a good bed, a table, TV, fridge and a nice chair but the good bits are overwhelmed by sloppy housekeeping. The floors were dirty in the bedroom as well as the shared areas. The bed sheets were very wrinkled and it makes you wonder when the comforter was last washed. Towels and spare bedclothes were just tossed to one side. The laundry room is untidy and dirty. In the kitchen I washed everything before I used it. I didn’t feel comfortable there or inclined to use the shower. Pity as it just needs some TLC.

Poor housekeeping

I cancelled my booking at this guesthouse 13 days in advance of my reservation due to a change of plans. At the time of booking, I was told I would get a full refund if cancelled more than 5 days in advance. This was in August, and I still haven’t received my refund despite multiple emails. I would avoid booking here if you value honesty and integrity in a business.

Thieves

Every room had dirt on the floor.  Derelict cars and junk in the yard. 2 waded up towels on a table, 1 bottom wrinkled sheet, 2 comforters thrown on the bed make you wonder if room was cleaned.  Almost every dish in drainer on counter, which had crumbs all over it.  Absolutely no place to lock up a bike except in room.  Also had an issue w/credit card, finding reservation, and finding room key resorted in a very concerning check in experience.  It may be cheap, but it isn't a nice place to stay.  A dumpy older house is OK; the lacking cleanliness is not.
