We booked at Econo lodge and the room was disgusting. There was blood on the wall, yellow stains on the sheets, elevator smelt like garbage, lobby was disgusting "ants crawling everywhere, carpet was ragged, bird crap everywhere on the balcony, tub had pubic hair, fire alarms were brownish smoke stained colour "did they even work"?

My boyfriend and myself have stayed there about three times now for a couple of nights in a row.  The place is extremely clean, updated and the you can always count on having the owners attention to anything you need.  I love that you can even see deer in the field beside and out back behind the motel.  It is close too town for easy access to various stores.  I must say we love to get take out from Boston Pizza when we are there, and wild wings beside the hotel is very good as well.  Hard to find motels now a days that are as well kept and affordable as this one!  Try Rogers Motel you will not be disappointed!

great quiet place to relax and enjoy a country setting on the outskirts of town.

The room I stayed in was nicely renovated and the bed was very comfortable. Much nicer than many privately owned motels. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Pleasant country setting but still close to town. I will definitely stay there again!

Very comfortable motel!

A nice little affordable motel on the edge of town.  The rooms come equipped with a fridge, microwave and tv with a comfy bed.  The rooms are a bit dated but clean and the staff are friendly.  Free parking and wifi.

A nice little motel

we stayed 2 night upon arriving in our room we notice it was very clean well set up and nicely updated with nice flooring not run mill carpet clean comfortable  bed clean  bathroom  and the motel area was well kept The second night the owner was nice enough to direct us to a restaurant  for dinner he was very knowlable about the area and willing to help
Upon returning home i noticed i had forgotten something in my  room and being 5 hours away was very upset and worried i would not get returned to me but the owner went out off his way to get my address to return it to me in the mail 
Can not say enough about this motel the rooms and owner are amazing i would reccomend  this place 100% and would be staying on out next trip to the area

This hotel is in desperate need of updating. The owner quoted me a price for a month then tried to deny it when I moved in.  He said no that was for a week.  Did not charge me tax (scamming?) not sure.  Called the cops on me when I challenged his quote.  The cops never came.  He said move out tomorrow then.  I said no I paid for a month and I'm staying a month.  He got angry so just waiting to see if my car and room are vandalized.  Owner claims he does not know english well and misunderstood me asking for a monthly quote.    Avoid avoid avoid!!!!!

Owner Misrepresents His Prices and pays no tax

Cold rainy night, turned into Rogers. At first glance the room seemed fine for the price. Once installed I had to leave the door open to rid the room of a disagreeable air spray scent. The bed was so poorly made I had to remake it only to discover that both the blanket and spread were stained. Closer examination of some of the towels showed that they were stained too. One side table had a left-over drink spill now dried up so finally I wiped down all the surfaces. Etc etc etc. Unacceptable level of housekeeping. Beware.

Housekeeping disaster

Clean. Tidy. Small.
As expected because we had brought our 15 week old puppy.
Pleasant check in, drive right up.
Fridge, microwave, coffee maker.
Redone, clean bathroom.
Ice and inexpensive vending machine in motel office.
At the price, quite decent.


Pet friendly

Clean, small room had a microwave and mini-fridge. Though the proximity of entrance doors to each other caused initial concern, it is quiet. Friendly and courteous owner. Bed was adequate, but not luxurious. Small table in room was helpful. TV gets many channels.

Quick stay - good enough

Clean rooms, quiet area, friendly staff, comfy beds, quiet AC and within walking distance of everything, My husband, mother in law and I walked from our motel room to Tim Horton's for afternoon tea, then went to a huge Dollarama. There is a bank, Walmart, grocery store and a number of restaurants within walking distance from your room including the best Chip truck I've had in a long time called Hank's.  The grounds are large, well manicured, with picnic tables, and bbq's. Each room has a fridge and microwave, wifi is fast and free. Big bang for your small bucks .
