The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable.

We had a great stay, it was very convient to the eye hospital, the restaurant on level 1 was very yummy. The beds very comfy too.

Location couldn't be better! Every public transportation is 2 min away. Area felt safe.

The room was very clean.The hotel is so convenient, 100metres from Town Hall Station, the tram and QV building. A pleasant walk through Hyde Park to the Art Gallery and museum.

Liked the staff friendliness, and willingness to assist , the convienience to everything we where doing eg transport . etc .plus the confy bed , which was important. perfect stay ,reasonally priced.

I stayed at Hotel Coronation for the first time and had a overall great experience. Staff were helpful and the room was in amazing condition. I highly recommend staying at this place in the CBD of Sydney

I stayed in a twin room, just for one night. It was so central to everything and lots of food options around. We enjoyed dinner at the restaurant in the hotel (got 10% off meals and drinks with our room key). It was delicious food too. Room was clean and big enough for 2 and a nice simple bathroom. The lift was a tad small but the stairs were always an option. Definitely recommend staying here.

Central location, very friendly and helpful concierge, good dining and bar options.

Older hotel, walk to many attractions! Clean and comfortable room. Instant coffee included in the room. A bit noisy, especially on weekend, as the hotel doesn't have great windows. Travis who welcomed us is great and friendly and provided us with lots of information.

One of the best locations I've stayed in the CBD and incredible value. Amazing staff, everyone was so friendly and there's just a great vibe about the place. The beds are soft and comfortable and I was lucky enough to get a room with a balcony for people watching and fresh air. 10/10 would Coronation again!

It is the best location. Town hall rail stop & light rail a minute away. You can go to central or circular key in minutes.Queen Vitoria building across the road. Great breakfast there ! Hyde park a few minutes walk. We went to a play at The Theatre Royal, it was a very pleasant 5 minute walk down Pitt Street.The staff are friendly & professional. It’s a pub, you are in the heart of the city. The Bistro is great. It’s not the Hyatt but it is great, we have already booked an again for a night in October. We are going on a cruise the next day… just jump on the light rail and we will be at circular key in minutes.

We stayed here for a long weekend with friends. Good location for shopping, eating, sightseeing and entertainment. Room is small but clean. Friendly staffs. We came in the morning after a long night flight and checked in our room as it was available. There's 1 disadvantage if you need to leave luggages there after check out because you had to pick up your luggages before 3pm. However, the hotel is a good choice for short stay in Sydney CBD with reasonable price.

Good location and reasonable price

The mattress was the softest and best we have slept on in any accommodation in recent times. The booking staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent adjacent to Woolworths, Town Hall Station and many choices for meals. The pub itself is busy and can be noisy, didnt bother us tho. A lift is a bonus at our age and on the third floor. Pricing was good.

Check in was quick and simple, room was small but suited to needs, dining available in building which was well priced and offered a discount for hotel guests (which we forgot to show haha). I even left items there by accident which they kept hold of while I was on my cruise and had ready for me to colelct when i returned which I was very grateful! Travis and the team were great to deal with and wouldn't mind staying there again

The staff were very friendly and helpful.We loved the Coronation. So comfortable, well maintained ( cute) and clean.We think of the history it has. The food was delicious in the private dining. Also it has a private door for staying customers to use instead of going thru bar and felt safe. What a wonderful location its in. So close to everything.(state theatre and railway in walking distance)It really is a  gem. We will definitely be back.Thank-you

Comfortable and clean room, relatively newly decorated. Bar/restaurant on site nice touch as we had been travelling for over 24 hours a meal at the on-site restaurant went down a treat, food was nice pub grub. Great base for exploring Sydney and beyond for a great price, basics all you need for a base. Would recommend,  thank you 😊

Overall, a good stay! Excellent location! The facility is okay. Small room. The front desk (no lobby) was maned during office hours. The staff was very helpful. The cleaning staff didn't seem to vacuum well enough and missed my hair tie on the floor. The location is very convenient. For the price, it's a good value. We were out and about all day, so it's fine. We had a room that's well situated without much noise at night. We liked our stay.

The location could not be better - walkable to all the interesting sights and close to public transit. The staff was very accommodating and efficient, the beds were supportive but not hard, and the restaurant downstairs was a delight. I cannot imagine satying anywhere else in Sydney. The only issue we had was the loss of Internet during a storm, but that is hardly the hotel's fault.
