We spent 4 very rich days in this somewhat magical place. The setting is beautiful and the welcome of Louis is very attentive and warm. A neat lunch on a terrace in front of the lake with a ballet of hummingbirds and other birds that roam in the morning cold. Swimming and kayaking on the small lake and very nice walks to do in the park of Mauricie which is 45 minutes away by car. Our host gave us very good advice and recommended a very good table near the hostel, the best meal of our three-week stay in Quebec.

A wonderful experience in a beautiful old house and stunning nature

It was a small, natural corner off the road, by a small lake, bathed in the autumn colors that welcomed us for two nights. The breakfasts were plentiful and very good, the rooms were comfortable, we used the spas and some of us got massaged (to their great satisfaction). The hosts (Edy and Louis-Pierre) were very hospitable and kind, generous in advice and tourist information.

Idyllic

We were very welcomed by Edy and Louis. This hostel is simply magical. The house is located right by the lake. The view is magnificent. The possibility of kayaking there. Breakfast is gargantuan and excellent! The rooms are at the top! Everything is perfect. A real stop for serenity! Thank you again.

A Refuge of Peace

One of our most beautiful experiences in Quebec. A just magical setting is the luxury cabin in Canada right by the lake in a real haven of peace. Edi and Louis are adorable and breakfast is on top. We arrive here like at a friend's house.

A welcome and an unforgettable site

A very good welcome for a couple's stay on Christmas Eve. We were wonderfully welcomed by our guests who were very careful to make us have a pleasant stay. The setting is simply idyllic and we feel away from everything. The owners are interesting and give us tips on activities to do around. The B and B is clean and special mention for the breakfast that was prepared for us on the plate and was different every morning. A delight!

I'm a man of peace!

Beautiful geographical setting (so, nothing to say) but very unpleasant welcome... As we got out of the car and even before we had a hello, we had a take your shoes off before you come in in a very pleasant tone. During our stay, we felt that we were not welcome, as if it did not discourage them from having tourists in their homes... They were strange, pressing, we felt monitored in all our actions and gestures as if they were afraid that we would soot or break something... Attention, breakfast is at 8:30 p.m., otherwise we will remind you to leave the room.

Bad vibes, you know.

We picked up this site after having to cancel one for personal reasons, it's quite peculiar, very beautiful with a view of a lake, you feel completely isolated from the world. The breakfast was included and was very good, you made it by the owner and gave you the choice and you can also use the free jacuzzi. It's ideal for nature tourism, or leisure and is located halfway between Montreal and Quebec, although somewhat away from the more populated areas. As a pegasus: it does something cool even if it's summer, there's not much intimacy even in the bathrooms since many windows didn't have blinds or opaque curtains, there had to be barefoot and besides the wooden floor made a lot of noise.

The perfect environment, though distant.

First, the place is wonderful. Near to the lake, wooden house and beautiful village. 
About Serenita, we had a nice welcoming. The bed is comfortable, the bath nice and everything s very clean.
But...
We were suprised that the "Nordic Spa" was closed for winter. 
The sauna and hammam were extra fees.
There is not way to pay outside cash (really ? in 2015??)
Finally, the breakfast was ok, but nothing as expected (they were talking about local specialties...).
We had the feeling we were bothering the hosts.

Cool place

This place is amazing. Went there with my parents and my girlfriend in early April and it was perfect. We've travel a lot, but I can safely say I have never been anywhere else like this. Edy is the most wonderful host, she got in touch with me before our arrival to enquire about any eating allergies. I've been following an SCD diet which is quite restrictive but she is an incredible cook and accommodated my diet extremely well with delicious meals! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax, eat well and get great massages. Thank you again Edy and Louis.

The most amazing place!

My girlfriend and I visited Edy and Louis Pierre's Serenita Spa on the first week of May 2015. It was the beginning of the summer season and the ice had only recently melted. We arrived and Louis Pierre kindly showed us our room, and explained how everything worked. He then prepared the kayaks for us as we were very keen to go kayaking and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. The dinner was lovely, italian flavours for the meal (osso bucco) and a banana and chocolate cake dessert. In the evening, we were interested in going in the hot tub so Louis Pierre made sure to turn it on before we started dinner so it would be warm enough. We then got the chance to meet Edy, who, I must say - makes one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. Edy is very sweet and welcoming - and once again went out of her way  to make sure everything was going well for us. At breakfast, she asked whether we preferred sweet or savoury - when we said both, so you can choose...she made BOTH!! And she also got us to try a canadian specialty (maple syrup goodness in a cone). 
When we left, she gave us two soaps that she makes herself - they were really nice and smelt wonderful. 

My word of advice is to visit their own website and to get in touch with Edy and Louis Pierre by email if you are interested in booking before you book. They will be able to give you advice, and for us, they gave us the kayaking for free! :)
