Victoria Motel

My husband and I stayed there for 2 nights and found it so peaceful. We sat at the picnic table listening and watching the birds at the feeders put out for them. The owners are very nice and will do anything to make our visit pleasant. Enjoyed each minute we were there.

My son and I revisited this Motel, we stayed here two years ago and was impressed with it at that time, and we are still impressed with it two year later. Victoria Motel is small, but very nice property, with a little Gazebo to sit in, pets are allowed, but the motel is very well kept and very clean and quiet, even though it is on the main highway. We didn't hear any noise from traffic. Nicole is the front desk manager and owner, she is very friendly and helpful. the motel is very close to the downtown area and shopping. I would recommend this Motel to anyone, who wants a clean , quiet place to stay. I know that we will return again.

We stayed here on Thursday and Friday night of this past week. The property is immaculate. Lovely flower beds and landscaping, with a friendly Welcome sign on the office door. The owners are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room was sparkling, with shining floors ( no outdated old carpeting ) and a super shower , . The linens and towels white and fresh and like new . The rates are amazingly affordable for that area. We would highly  recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to stay . In fact, I was so impressed ( and we stay in over 40 motels / hotels a year  in Ontario ) that I gave the property business cards out at the weekend event we were attending . 
Its far nicer and more like home than the overpriced sterile looking major chains. Plus free wi fi and free local calls, a fridge and microwave in every room at no extra charge . Gracious hosts who apologised for the storm which caused a major power outage overnight ! Delightful people and an oasis in the storm . You don't get that at a chain property . 

We will be going back there just for a weekend getaway soon .

Victoria Motel revisited

A Gem in the Kawarthas

Wonderful visit

Just a nice little place to be if ur looking for a good nights sleep .Its usually quiet and clean. Always open and willing to rent a room if available..Staff is very friendly and it is under new owners and they are doing a great job. The deposit is reasonable  and u don't need a credit card, that's a lot more easier.

Weekend Snooze

Stayed here for one night and really did expect more for the money. We paid nearly $100 and while the bed was comfortable and the room was fairly clean, the room was in poor shape and outdated. The main room was okay but the bathroom was old and gross. We wished we had shower shoes to wear for our shower in the morning which is something you never should have to think about.

The toiletries provided were also sadly lacking and there was no coffee maker in the room.

That said, the location is just a few minutes from downtown and it's just off the highway.

Would we stay here again? No. For just a few dollars more there are other motels/hotels in town that ranked much higher.
