Diamond Motor Inn

The rooms definitely show some wear, but there's a little kitchenette in the room and the beds are pretty good. The staff was great. It was a very solid motel to stay at. I will stay here again the next time I'm in Owen Sound.

The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The office staff were very friendly and helpful too. The price was also very good.

Had a room at the back of the property, mostly quiet just the occasional Pepsi truck. Staff were welcoming of my family and didn't make a fuss about the two cups that were broken

Very friendly staff. There was a simple but sufficient breakfast available.There was a kitchenette,but the stove top didn't  work. We didn't planned on using it anyway.Very close to all the attractions.

Our rooms were very clean and I was very happy with the service we received from the management staff. very nice family rooms

They let us early check in room was very clean Breakfast was yummy and staff was Very friendly Highly recommend

The owner was very friendly, and gave us some local attraction and restaurant recommendation. We were in a family room, it was spacious and room seems clean. The bathroom looks like it's been renewed recently and quite clean. The door was a little outdated and hard to lock, and the phone to call front desk located in the washroom is quite a vintage, but other than that everything was great.

We wanted a nice quiet getaway up near sauble beach! We chose this little motel in Owen sound! We loved it so much we are heading back out the end of August and rebooked our stay

I forgot my backpack there, got a call from them about it within one hour after I left

We were pleasantly surprised by the Diamond Motor Inn at Owen Sound. We arrived late at night as we were coming from Manitoulin Island on the ferry that arrived at 11:45PM. When you arrive late at night, there is a phone to dial the owners - she came out and was pleasant. 

The room itself was dated (felt like I had stepped back into 1970), but it was clean even though it had some wear and tear. The best part was that the room had a small kitchenette with plates. We found everything to be very comfortable, and clean. 

On checkout the next morning, the owner was very pleasant and asked where we were going. I would stay here again when passing through Owen Sound. :)

Night Stay at Owen Sound

We booked this place very last moment for an impromptu trip to Tobermory. We were looking for one night stay and the place served that purpose at the budget we had. The lady at the check-in was very polite and helpful. I had requested for an hour late check out and she had no issues

It was good . Th right price too. Everything great accept no coffee milk or cream( we ca. bring our own next time) if asked ahead of time.No biggie though.

Property older but well maintained.We were very pleased with overall stay.Advertised a continental breakfast but it is an old service and no longer available. Should update sign and web site.Close to all stores

Check in was quick and we were upgraded to a bigger room. The room was clean and and very quiet. We all had a good night sleep.
