this place is great  the innkeeper calls if your late   he leaves a bbq with propane full  balcony for smokers kitchenette  is fully stocked so you dont have to go out to dinner we pack dinner and breakfast  great coffee shop downtown and restaurants also  clean and quiet

The ONLY motel in town, You must drive through a one lane alley and down a slope to the parking area, then climb metal stairs to access checkin. The room was musty, but otherwise a clean kitchenette. The manager provides Tim Hortons coffee and donuts in the AM.

Spooky entrance reminded me of the Bates Motel.

I rate this motel a 5 for the following reasons:  Yes it is outdated and older that is true
but the room was spotless, the location, unbeatable and the owner is absolutely FANTASTIC and extremely accommodating, helpful and sincere.  When you consider the value for the money it is a 5.  We could have stayed at one of the other hotels in Kemptville for  $309.00  each night, making it a $650.00 plus weekend. At checkout our grand total for the weekend was $158.00 .  I did NOT notice ANY smell in the hallway or the rooms as a matter of fact when we were leaving which we were late checking out and he never said a word about it all the rooms were being cleaned , aired and linens and towels being changed. We WILL definitely be back to stay here again. Like I have written it is not the fanciest in the area but all considered it was a TERRIFIC stay.  Thank you so much to the owner operator for a wonderful visit.

Very Clean, Amazing Staff!!!

The man at the front desk was very friendly, but besides that, there wasn't much that was great about this motel. I was a little scared at first, but was assured from people around the area that it's a safe place and town to stay. The motel is extremely, extremely outdated. The towels are very old and the pillows are very, very flat. Breakfast was advertised at the time of my booking this motel, but there wasn't any. This is budget friendly for sure, but that's probably the only plus regarding this motel.

Extremely, extremely outdated

Kind staff at check in didn't make up for the smell in the hallway and room. Bed very hard, and despite being told at reservation time we would have a room at the back, we were put into a room on Clothier St. which we found to be extremely noisy. Very little perceived value at the rate of $95.
