I booked this room for my son after having been stranded in a snowstorm on the highway near gravenhurst. He decided to make his way to north bay to visit family and Kim could not have been more helpful in every possible way!

Terrace Suites is a wonderful little place to get away. Has an older charm on the outside but restored and modernized. The staff were so polite, welcoming, attentive and willing to help with any request. The firepit was so neat to have a fire at night, wood provided. The view is beautiful!!! Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at Terrace Suites is always memorable! The most friendly and accommodating service you can ask for. The view of Callander Bay was incredible to wake up to and to watch the sunset at the end of a day, there may be no better view in the area to do so! 
The back patio view is a well kept golf course that was enjoyable to play over our week’s stay. We appreciated the loan of golf clubs as we did not travel with our sets. Thank you Kostas! 
The unit look newly renovated, yet had a rustic cabin feel, which is very comforting, especially considering the amount nature surrounding the property! You really do feel isolated, yet we could take a short walk to Callander for meals/drinks and beaches! After travelling a lot this summer I can honestly say the King size beds at Terrace Suites were the most comfortable in all our stays! Hadn’t slept that sound in a very long time. Blackout curtains are a nice touch as well. We truly did feel at home and it’s quick drive to North Bay, although we did decide many days to just stay put and enjoy the property.
We used the new bbq’s throughout the week, and on a summer night nothing beats a bbq and a glass of vino/pint.

Air conditioning was pleasant to come back to after hot sunny days out…and the fireplace made the unit feel much like sleeping in a cabin. All and all our stay at the Terrace Suites was the highlight of our trip to Ontario! We’ll be back and looking forward to our next stay! Thank you to the property staff (you were all amazing) for making our stay another memorable one! B&L

Quiet and Serene stays at the Terrace Suites

Just passing through for one night stay. Check-in was easy, the room was spacious and clean. Jetted tub was nice but a bit small for two. Could not figure out how to start the fireplace but didn’t need it. Shower was nice but plan to bring your own poo, conditioner and body wash. Hot breakfast delivered at 9am was a nice touch. The view overlooking the lake and watching the sunset was awesome. We would stay again!

Quiet and clean with a great view

I would have given an excellent rating if the bed had been better. While the mattress and pillows were firm and comfortable, the bed frame was extremely light and moved with the slightest shift, resulting in a less-than-ideal sleeping experience. However, the view and cleanliness of the room were beyond expectations.

The room was very clean and everything looks very recently updated. We loved the fact there was a front and back balcony and dishes and glassware in the room as well as coffee and tea. The breakfast was tasty and convenient to heat up in the microwave whenever we wanted. The staff went to extra effort when I asked for milk for the tea and coffee. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the room was very warm even with the heat turned off completely.so we also were unable to make use of the fireplace. But we would definitely stay there again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous! Rooms are well-appointed and very clean. My room was at the front of the building and what a view over the lake!! Would highly recommend, and am already planning my next trip to stay here again! I recommend slippers for winter stays as the tile floors felt cold on my feet. Thankfully I packed mine! Had a bit of a challenge with the key system and Lisa did an amazing job getting it resolved! I checked in after office hours and she was so kind despite my grumpiness after a long drive. The way she managed this shows how much she cares about her guests! It was worth the 4 hour drive.

This is where I proposed a Promise to my Girl. After delivering the ring and the decorations to the staff, they made the suite so amazingly wonderful. I entrusted them with my ring to be placed in a specific area and they did just that and then some. 10/10 I would recommend Terrace Suites again and Im sure Ill be returning in the summer for the amazing views it has.

The suite was cozy, the walk in shower with two spouts was wonderful, the fireplace was awesome and view of the frozen lake was magical. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the room and the lady on her way to work hurried up to help us. I would go back. Cozy romantic getaway.The breakfast should be axed. It was pre-made and gross. The coffee was bad, too.

On a clear night, the night sky view rivals the day. Upon arrival, I was asked if I needed help with my luggage. Every time I entered the building, the door was opened for me. A large outdoor fire burned brightly when I returned at night. The smell alone adding to the ambiance. I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area and always wanted to stay here.  This is the only one I would take the time to write a review about and it was worth the wait.

Worth the Wait

First night experience Excellent! Tim the young gentleman who greeted me initially was very accommodating & friendly 
Second night using the shower was a huge disappointment there was zero water pressure like a rain sprinkle falling on me I don’t even care of the fact that there is no shelf to set soap or shampoo but I expected water flow 
Also strangely whoever cleaned the room left their plastic utensils all over the counter again I don’t care that they forgot to leave me soap or shampoo stuff happens!   Bed sheets rough the second night made me itchy must be the detergent very comfy bed and pillow 
Beautiful view & I love the fire pit area I would stay again but only if I had use of a shower with pressure :) 
The jaccuzi room was nice! Staff are friendly
