This Bed and Breakfast was AMAZING!My daughter and I were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. This was our first time doing a bed and breakfast, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Our room was magical! The entire home was clean, well decorated and thought out, had everything we needed and our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning and coffee were phenomenal! We will absolutely be booking a room here again. My daughter will be talking about this place for years to come I’m sure! Thank you again for everything Lois!

This is a beautiful property with great attention to detail! Our host was lovely, breakfast was delicious, and she sent us on our way with home baked cookies for the road. We will be back for sure!!!!

Our host was so inviting and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Having breakfast with the other guests was one of our favorite times. I also enjoyed taking in all the beautiful decor and the feeling being transported back in time to the early 1900's. Our room was delightful and I enjoyed all the little touches that were added to make our stay a memorable one. We are already looking forward to a return trip 😊 Thank you for creating a beautiful place so that we could take a step into the past and have a peace filled vacation.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful character building, well maintained, clean and charming. Delicious breakfast that puts other hotels to shame. Friendly and kind host. Very reasonable priced.  Highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Unique Victorian " mansion". Stayed in terrace suite with huge veranda( 3 sides of upper floor) Bed comfortable and lots of antique furniture.Breakfast was great. Cookies on arriving was a treat. Would definitely return for a getaway

We were thrilled with this amazing, beautiful character home.  So many small details make it a delight to experience.  The Hosts are welcoming and happy to share the history of this exceptional property.  You're in for a treat just to be able to look around.  Each room is unique and full of interesting items.  We had a very relaxing stay.  I highly recommend you put this on your bucket list.  We will be back!

Awesome character home

I have been to Moose Jaw many times but never to Wakamow Heights. This B&B is in a historic old home that has several rooms for rent. We stayed in the penthouse suite and enjoyed our night there. The host, Lois, was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning and had a chance to meet and chat with a few other couples that also stayed there.

I thought the property was very nice but Expedia’s description was not accurate. It said there was 24 hour room service, dvd players in the rooms and blackout blinds which there wasn’t. With the blinds there was a space between the blind and window frame so it was very bright once the sun came up. The breakfast was amazing and Lois was an exceptional host!

This beautiful old Victorian home has been meticulously renovated to create the ambiance of a bygone era but has the modern conveniences today’s travelers are looking for. The host, Lois, welcomed us in like family but also gave us complete privacy. Tasty breakfast on the enclosed wrap around porch. We would stay here again.

Lois and her Wakamow Heights B&B are absolutely charming. Every detail was perfect for our stay. Delicious breakfast and baked goods, lemonade, coffee, tea. Lots of areas in and out to relax and enjoy. Rooms beautifully decorated, lots of amenities. Convenient to downtown for dining, shopping, exploring and attractions. Lovely park nearby for walking.

A century home turned bed and breakfast offers multiple suites that with a Victorian flair. We stayed in the terrace suite which offered a queen sized princes bed, sitting area with large television, mini fridge, coffee maker, wine glasses and a private entrance to the wrap around terrace (which has a sitting area for two). The room is accentuated by a large clawfoot jacuzzi tub conveniently next to the bed. You can soak in the relaxing tub and roll into bed so easily.

The room was clean, quaint and minutes away from everything Moose Jaw has to offer. The host and owner Louis was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Included in your stay in a home cooked breakfast running from 0800-1000. You have the option to sit on the sheltered veranda wrapping the extent of the building or inside the quaint living room. Our breakfast was comprised of tea/coffee (there is water, juice, hot chocolate and other drinks available), sausage, omelette, banana bread, a jar of mixed fruit, and homemade fried fingerling potatoes. All of this was served when you showed up for breakfast so it was hot and fresh. 

Overall this was an incredible night in Moose Jaw and a location I would recommend to anyone visiting. Avoid the hotels and support this bed and breakfast.

A quaint Victorian styled century home overlooking the valley

Waccamaw Heights bed-and-breakfast in Moose jaw is a hidden treasure! The house and its interior take you back to the early 1900s… Hardwood floors clawfoot tub’s brass bed frames and much more. But the modern amenities are there also! Because the weather was pleasant, we were served breakfast in the enclosed sunporch gorgeously decorated with sunflowers. The hostess was very accommodating, carefully accommodating my spouses picky eating the food was wonderful and homemade I would stay there again. Any chance I had.

Hidden Bed and Breakfast Gem

We stayed 3 nights at this terrific B and B. Lois was fantastic hostess and a superb chef her meals were a highlight of the trip. Her home is welcoming and we had the pleasure of staying  in two different rooms over our stay, both were equally charming and unique. I look forward to staying again the next time we are in the area!
