We had Keurig coffee in the room with a refrigerator and a microwave oven. The sea view is beautiful with beautiful photos to take from sunrise. We had a back terrace with two chairs. Our double bed was clean and comfortable. The wifi was working well. We were happy to have followed the advice of the friendly receptionist to pay a little more for a room with sea view because the ones in front can disturb your sleep if it is light because of the traffic on the road. We have several photos to show you. We would go back to the hotel without any traffic by recommending this.

What a big room, in addition to the two queen beds, there's a two-seater couch, one kitchen corner with table and three chairs, a piano desk. There's no sea view, but you can see it from the bathroom window. Almost anything, Dollorama, Maxi, Super C, Walmart, Canadian Tire etc.

We booked for the holidays, it's not the luxury but I find my account... close to everything and microwave coffee and fridge... which I want you to add... so have little to eat in the room...

She's adorable

I was there in high season and paid $154 with tax for a single room. All the hotel that night in August seemed to be busy. The owner may have taken advantage of it. The room was clean but not very modern. The owner give out to his guess one soap and a package of shampoo that it is virtually impossible to open in the shower. If they want to charge Montreal prices, they should at least give better then a 10 cent soap and a 5 cent shampoo package. The room was a two bed room. If we would be 2 in there, it would have been a struggle to share the cheap soap and shampoo.

Clean but expensive for the kind of Motel

We arrived late in the evening after the ferry crossing from Baie Comeau and were pleasantly surprised to step into a fresh smelling and very clean room with an updated bathroom. We were on the highway side so fhe traffic was audible at times but was not really annoying. The little restaurant in the mall offers a good and inexpensive breakfast from 5 am onwards.

We are two retired couples driving from Vancouver Island to the Atlantic provinces and as we drove into Matane one of our wives became quite ill and we took her to the hospital. After a brief consultation we decided that it would be best to stop here for the night.
We had only driven on for about 2 minutes when we spotted the sign for this motel and we are all very happy we stopped.
It is clean and fresh smelling and very comfortable. A better choice would be hard to find.

Overall, it can be said that the room was adequate and relatively clean. The hotel is however old and would certainly need a refreshment. A bit noisy on the side of road 132 and definitely too expensive to have access on the river side (as little as you can see from the bedroom window). A microwave oven should be integrated into all the rooms.

Correct without further ado

This place would be nice if it wasn't so close to the street or soundproofed? The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately there is carpet in the room, so allergic people should abstain too. A refrigerator is appreciated, as is the cafeteria, and I believe there would be room for a microwave. The room is well furnished. The location is close to everything. But unfortunately, we feel like cars and trucks pass through our room at night. For this reason, I would only go back if I really couldn't find anything better located in Matane.

Failure to Sleep

The price of $89 plus taxes was good enough, the popularity of the place and the hustle and bustle of the place, once we got the key, the room felt like the scalp was not clean and the floor was carpeted, the road was very busy and there was no access to the sea, so take your time before renting.

Room not clean

Nice room great price very comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly and the location is close to good restaurants and little shopping mall. The view is beautiful you can see the fleuve st Laurent. Loved the big screen television. It's very quiet even if it's located on a major street.
