La Maison Demers

When we arrived, the gentleman owner's first concern was where we were parked (currently in a no parking zone a few doors up, there is extremely little street parking in Old Que). He noted that we had a subcompact car and moved his motorcycle so we could take that parking spot, just steps from the door. We got a room on the 3rd floor. There is no air conditioning in the main building itself but our room had a window unit that was plenty for our room. We reserved a room with a shared bathroom but I never saw anyone else using it despite the fact that the place was at full capacity. While the stairs themselves were very creaky, the building is quite. I never heard any of the guests other than seeing 3, coming and going. I awoke before the owner but he was quick to put on coffee. There was fruit, yogurt, cheese, muffins and warm croissants laid out for guests. When it came time to check out, the owner was very helpful, opening doors for us. I would definitely stay there again.
