We are a couple who have travelled widely for many years and loved this BNB.  Gilles is the best host imaginable, the bed is extremely comfortable, the breakfasts delicious, plentiful and varied (we stayed four nights), the entire home is very clean, and the location easy walking distance to metro in a quiet but still active area of Montreal.  This is a BNB where you will really enjoy getting to know the host and feel the love and care he devotes to the Gite.  Gilles grew up in Montreal and knows it quite well.  He advised us and provided insight into the city.  Plus this comes with parking in the back.  We feel very lucky that we found Le Gite Dezery and cannot recommend this BNB and Gilles highly enough.

Very comfortable bed, room was a perfect size, shower was rain shower and very roomy.  Breakfast was great along with the awesome conversation. Central to all areas in Montreal. Highly recommend staying here. 

If you’re contemplating the B & B, let me assure you that you will not regret it! 
It’s located in a nice residential area, very safe & free parking on the street too. Metro is close by so very easy to get around. Rooms are very comfortable & spotless. Everything you need and more at this B & B, even a little fridge and water bubbler just outside your room and each room has a lovely private balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Gilles is a very personable host, most welcoming and we enjoyed some great conversations. He makes a great breakfast too! We stayed 3 days and each day was a different, delicious breakfast. Accommodates special dietary needs too. Don’t think twice about booking a room at Gite Dezery. It’s among the best!

The title says it all, Gilles has an amazing B and B going on here. It's quiet and relaxing but easy access to the metro and buses means its easy to get into the city, great restaurants just up the road, Gilles is knowledgeable and gregarious and its so nice meeting "out of towners" and "out of the continent" people over his superb home cooked  breakfasts!
The room is a good size and clean and quiet and very relaxing with a nice little balcony too

We decided to stay out of the tourist-filled center of Montreal and chose this gite, close to the Montreal Botanical Gardens.  It was a welcoming and relaxing experience.  Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, with a large closet and a balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard.  A wonderful place to sit with a book or glass of wine.  Peaceful.  The guest area, which is mostly on the second floor, has a refrigerator for the use of guests and a water cooler, which was greatly appreciated during the hot days while we were there.  Gilles prepared a healthy and delicious breakfast each morning and was enormously helpful with directions.  Parking was easy.  The space in front of the gite was open most of the time, and parking is also available in the courtyard behind the gite.  There is a restaurant within walking distance.  We were very happy we found Le Gite Dezery and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the Morocaine room for 4 weeknights in Mid-May 2018.  Gilles was a very personable and accommodating host and the room had a nice little balcony overlooking the street below.  We even got a recipe that we've made several times since for one of the gluten free items Gilles made my partner for breakfast.  We would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed with Gilles for a couple of nights and Gilles was the most amazing host to us. He treated us like family and we tried new and delicious breakfast items every day! The location is ideal, close to several points of interest. Only once did we take the subway. He gave us very useful tips to get the most out of our trip. To top it off, he even offered to drive us to L’Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal! I would definitely return to stay with Gilles if the opportunity were to arise in the future.

Very friendly host, very nice space, convenient location to the Botanical Gardens and the Metro, big Provigo near by and several restaurants. Wonderful breakfasts, and a lovely neighbourhood. Good on-street parking.
