Beautiful, quaint little inn that my husband and I stayed at when attending a wedding. Little quirks you get with an older property like the key entry, tight parking (we have a truck), small bathroom with no fan/vent, window air conditioner… but it was beautiful with lots of charm like the wooden staircase, exposed brick, the courtyard restaurant… and the service made it so memorable. We would definitely come back, it is a perfect little getaway for a couple who wants a quiet and relaxing stay!

The Breadalbane Inn is lovely, and I would definitely recommend it.  We stayed in the main inn, which was both comfortable and elegant with interesting antiques and architecture.  Fergus, and nearby Elora, are charming, as well as close proximity to farmer's markets, waterfalls, etc.If possible, I would give it a rating of 4.5 stars due to a few puzzling cost-saving choices.  * Pleasingly, the room had a tray with an assortment of glassware and a decanter of water.  The water, however, tasted strongly of chlorine.  Why provide a decanter that contains tap water?!  All of the other inns we visited had spring water, or at least water treated by reverse osmosis.  If not offering pleasant water, simply leave the decanter empty. * The inn prides itself on it's food.  We ordered the pork schnitzel and mushroom bianco pizza.  The schnitzel was HUGE, but was served with a tiny amount of Jager sauce (a thimble in comparison to the schnitzel).  A wedge of lemon would have been a welcome addition.   Similarly, the presence of fresh ground pepper would have greatly elevated the pizza.  Small things that would make a nice meal truly remarkable.

Comfortable and Historical

My husband and I were in town for a wedding at Elora Mill. We began the weekend with lunch at the pub at Breadalbain. Service was welcoming, warm and friendly food was the best. Delicious and we topped it off with local brews. Room was comfy and a little snug. Great stay. Great breakfast was included. We’ll run operation !

Great stay

The property itself was lovely.  Vintage and historical with a touch of modern. We were greeted at the front desk with a flute of prosecco, nice touch. Breakfast was included which was fantastic with a touch of class. Server at breakfast was so sweet and our cleaning lady, Reece, was wonderful!Very good experience and we will be back.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Inn. From check-in to check-out it was an absolutely lovely stay. Our room, The Cardinal Suite, was so charming with two chairs right by a trio of windows overlooking the street. The bed was comfortable the tub and shower were amazing, and the fireplace in the suite was so nice. We enjoyed breakfast in the solarium both mornings, and enjoyed them both. The pancakes were so light and fluffy and the yogurt parfait was equally as good. The service was amazing, from check-in, the dinner in the pub to the breakfasts. All staff were wonderfully friendly! We thank them for being a big part of making our time there so enjoyable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Breadalbane Inn and truly hope that we make it back again for another stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The Inn is charming, our room was large, very clean, well appointed, comfortable and had a fireplace. We started our stay with lunch in the pub (they also have a dinning room). The lunch was great and we returned the next day. We were greeted by Perri who made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The Inn is at the end of town and within a five minute walk to the Town Center. We will definetly return.

Great Inn!!!

We were attending a wedding in Elora on Saturday evening. The Elora Mill was booked up and too costly. Local motels looked a bit shabby. The Breadalbane Inn was recommended by a friend who had stayed there before. We stayed in the Cardinal Room, which was spacious and very comfortable. Had a great dinner on Friday night and breakfast was included each morning. The Inn is located on the main drag in Fergus, convenient for the local shopping.

This is our first stay at Breadalbane Inn .... turns out we like it so much we know we will come back.  We stayed at a deluxe room with garden view.  The room is very spacious, clean, nicely decorated, very comfortable bed.  We also like the breakfast, especially the bacon, wonderfully cooked.  We were introduced to their organic products and ended up buying quite a few for Xmas presents.  We highly recommend this Inn to anyone who wish to spend time exploring Fergus / Elora.

A wonderful get away place

We really enjoyed our stay at Breadalbane Inn and will be returning! The Inn itself is lovely and the atmosphere is charming without being overly quaint or 'precious'. Breakfast was included and was definitely not the usual Continental breakfast of toast, croissant, boxed cereal and scrambled eggs! What a treat!The rooms are smaller than modern hotel rooms, as would be expected in a mid-eighteen hundreds home. They are clean, airy and simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and crisp linens--plus a coffee maker and TV. The staff is always ready to help, the Inn is spotless and the town of Fergus is charming.

Staff were all friendly, polite, great service. Room was spacious, felt like home.Great restaurants onsite, with awesome food, walking distance to many areas.
