Travellers Motel

The property is close to the industrial area of the city. High traffic area.

It's right on the highway, but the walls are concrete, so it was quiet overall, but if you are a light sleeper you may need to turn on fan or ear plugs.

They’re renovated since I stayed here last and I was pleasantly surprised. Right on the main road so there’s some noise but it’s convenient, price is great, and the beds are clean and comfy.

Great location for us however the parking area hadn't been plowed and was difficult to walk across for this reason.

Checkin was friendly and quick. There is a nice little library of books at reception for guests.We extend our appreciation to whomever is cleaning and making up the rooms. The rooms are not new, but they are well maintained and very thoroughly cleaned, with new linens and towels, exceptional for cleanliness. We also appreciated the air quality; no scents and the window opened. The appliances were great, especially the full sized fridge. Yes, the rooms are along the street, but that seems common for Cranbrook motels. We were very comfortable in our room. Finally, Travellers offers the very best value in town for clean, friendly accommodation.

The floors were very dirty.  It wasn't just our room, since we talked to other guests that said the same.  The air conditioner was very noisy, sounded like a washing machine on the spin cycle.The staff were extremely friendly at least.  The room was small but the bed and pillows were comfortable.  Parking our motorcycles and trailer on the property was great.  The price was reasonable and we'd probably stay again if they mopped the floors.  We had to wear our sock and they were black when we left.

The thing that was disappointing for us was the bed was quite loud. The box spring covering was very noisy when you sat or moved around in the bed. This could be fixed by placing a very thin sheet of plywood between the top mattress and box spring.I have to thank our Manager for coming to another guests assistance to help the gentleman who had fallen in his room. The gentleman needed assistance to sit up then was able to maneuver himself.With your help we were able to lift the gentleman. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

This place looks exactly how you think it does.   The pictures are accurate.  It's very clean, everything works, and you get a decent size fridge which is nice.  The beds are brand new and actually incredibly comfortable.  However, it is dated and things are a little worn.  For us on a motorcycle trip, we loved this place and stayed twice.  We would stay here again.

Clean and comfortable hotel, but it is dated

Just stayed at Travellers Motel for one night. We were very impressed! The place was clean and comfortable and excellent value. The beds were sooo comfy and great pillows too! Nice tiled bathroom as well, great shower. We had our dog with us which was no problem for the motel. One concern when you are travelling with a dog is...where can she go pee? There are a long row of grassy boulevards you can walk your dog along just outside the hotel, however, the highway is right there, so you must use your leash, but just to get out for a quick pee it is perfect. Parking was no problem and the host was very nice. So, this is not luxury, it is basic but we give it a kick up from basic as it was updated and CLEAN and COMFY. What more do you want really??!!

Excellent & Very Comfy

My wife and I spent one night here in early October 2020 and were pleasantly surprised with our stay. We were travelling from Manitoba just passing through.  The lady who checked us in was friendly and helpful. The room we were given was on the second floor and was clean and odorless.  The bed was very comfortable also. Couldnt have really asked for much more. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

Very pleasant experience

My family and I stayed here for 1 night in June 2020. Overall it as a pretty good stay, no real complaints. They had a nice gazebo area where you could smoke also, which was plus for we were smokers. The host was a really nice lady. Her hubby and another guests helped us the morning we were leaving with our license plate, which was much appreciated! Good stay overall, good price also and quick access to the hwy to Alberta!

Good Stay for an Overnighter

We were late leaving the Okanagan, and phoned to say so, and the lady could not have been more helpful, saying arriving around 10:45 p.m. was not a problem. When we arrived she made sure we were comfy Our room was fine, with a new and very comfy bed. Bathroom was big. Continental breakfast was just what we needed before getting on the road again.

Cheap and Cheerful; Fantastic Service

I quite liked this motel for the reasonable price.  There was no vacancy and it was quiet.  The room was dated and small but clean.  Had a fridge, microwave and the bedding and towels were fine.  Wifi worked great. Some people were using the barbecue out front.  Continental breakfast had many choices.......bagels,toast,pastries,cereal,fresh fruit,yogurt and juice.  Trays are provided and you can eat in your room.  Check in was pleasant and the lady in charge was helpful and kind.  Would recommend.

Good Basic Accommodation

Couldn't believe the value!    Cute motel with all the amenities in my room....my cat was welcome, and also had a continental breakfast in the office in the morning.    The bed was great for a good sleep....Quiet, and love having a room I can walk into after parking.
Lady at the desk was great as well....
