The staff was friendly, the room and areas was super clean, the pool is great for kids and the location is close to many amenities .

We were there for a wedding . Great location.  Breakfast was good.  Staff was friendly

The hotel was quite comfortable overall. We especially enjoyed the good continental breakfast and the decent pool, which included a fun slide. However, there were a couple of issues during our stay. The TV in our room never worked, despite the staff making a genuine effort to fix it. Additionally, the pull-out couch had a very noticeable stain on the foam mattress, which was a bit off-putting.With a few improvements, this could be a great place to stay.

Spacious room!PARKING LOT FULL! Street parking on a Service Road.Breakfast Sausages were not good.No flavour or texture, almost limp.Same for the coffee... Limp.If hotels are making the Breakfast a feature to attract new business, they had better step up. Just a 10-20% improvement would let the Breakfast feature do it's intended job.Id stay here again, although this hotel is priced very high in the summer season.Comfortable bed and pillows. Big Pool!

Big Room!

Pleasantly surprised at the layout of the room. There was a love seat that became a double bed and a chair. A wall separated the sitting area from the "bedroom" area which had a king bed. The bed was firm but comfortable. The room had a good size fridge, microwave, coffee maker (pods only),   and blow dryer. Everything was clean. Good pressure in the shower, but the fan left a lot to be desired. The pool and hot tub were great. Good sized pool with a tunnel slide my son loved! The pool towels were thin and tiny but the pool area was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausages and your typical toast, oatmeal, pastries, cereal, and it had 2 waffle makers. Overall enjoyable stay for my family. Our stay was from Saturday to MondayPROS: 1. Nice clean room2. Comfortable sleeping arrangements 3. Pool areaCONS: 1. Bathroom fan worked poorly2. Hot breakfast was only available on Sunday. I booked this hotel specifically because of the pool and breakfast so I was disappointed. Would like to see clarification on website that "hot" breakfast only on weekends.3. No gluten free replacement options ie. Bread, cereal, etc. (but I didn't really expect it).

Family getaway on a long weekend (Sat-Mon)

My experience at this hotel could have been better. Upon arrival, I had to phone the reception to check in, as no one was available at the desk. Once inside the room, I noticed a strong fecal odor coming from the washroom, and there was a dirty stain on the toilet seat. While I could have requested a room change, I chose not to bother. Later that evening, as my family and I headed to our car in the parking lot, we were greeted by an unpleasant and overwhelming smell of urine.Despite the enjoyable continental breakfast, a nice swimming pool, and a relaxing hot tub, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone with a sensitive sense of smell. If cleanliness is a priority for you, this may not be the right place to stay. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel room was clean, stayed in a family room. Furniture could definitely use an upgrade.  Couch cushions had no foam left in them, deck chair definitely saw better days, matress old but still comfortably and breakfast options could have been better but it was free.  For how much this hotel costs i would have expected better furniture.  Will probably try a cheaper,newer hotel in Red deer next time.

The room we had was large and clean and had a fridge and microwave. It was a suite so had a couch and chairs. I found the hotel quiet but we were there during the week. Lobby and elevator was a bit dirty. The coffee table in the room has seen better days but all in all it was good. I am a bit of a clean freak. The front desk guy could have been more friendly but did tell us all the information needed.

The hotel is fine if you are looking for the basics. It is quite a distance from the lakefront where all the restaurants and beaches are, and is in the industrial area. The room was ok, but the bed was too hard for my liking. Also the toilets are very low to the ground. There was a pool, but I did not like the people who just sat there gawping who had no intention on swimming, not quite sure why people do that!

Loved the large waterslide in the pool - particularly that it was operating on a weekday!  Most hotels with this feature it only operates on weekends - so this was a great bonus for the kids.  Had we know the local movie theatre was directly beside the hotel we probably would have planned to arrive a bit earlier & have a movie night out as well- it looked unique & different from the big corporate cineplexes.

A little too "family friendly"--noise from children was a bit too much at times.  (This comment is not aimed at the work of the staff, but just a note on the many families who chose to stay at the hotel who allow their kids to run rampant.)
