Honestly was better than we were expecting. Was a great stopping place on our way to Waterton and Montana.

Clean room, comfortable bed, nice and complete kitchenette.

Good option to stop in small town for a night or two.

It was good stay and reasonable price the staff was good and helpful

Great little motel!  Very clean, comfy bed, friendly people.  Would recommend.

Everything went smooth, will definitely be looking forward to staying here again

The rooms were clean, small but everything you need.   Staff was very friendly.  BBQ's on site, outside your door.  We had a room in the back, behind the hotel, it was very quiet. It had a nice little deck outside our room with chairs.  (the front does not have the deck, but has BBQ and chairs as well).  Priced well.  Next time I'm in town I will stay there again.

This motel is right on one of the main highways and is easy to find. From the outside it looks very less than ordinary but the room was one of the best equipped rooms we have stayed in Western Canada. Bed was hard but comfortable, tv worked great, coffee machine good, fridge was cold, hair dryer attached right next to bathroom mirror, shower hot, bathroom fully functional. No complaints. The sign out front could do with some TLC maintenance, but do not be put off.

Excellent well-equipped clean motel at an affordable price

Stayed at the West Castle during a Waterton trip. The room was clean and the owner was really friendly. The rooms were equipped with everting you need including a kitchen sink! The wifi worked well the shower had good pressure and the beds were pretty decent. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Good stay for a good price

I was cold and grouchy so decided not to camp, but to get a room in the Ramada so I could have a swim.  Well, the Ramada was full, I was no longer in the mood for camping, so here's a nice little motel, The West Castle.   Half what I would have paid, could park right outside my door, good reliable wifi, bed OK, hit shower with good pressure, clean room, clean outside.  Really, what more do you need?

Nice cheap motel

We stayed at the West Castle Motel on our way from Banff down to Waterton.  It was a convenient place to stop, and the motel was nice, clean, and tidy.  Our room was small, but it had two queen beds.  We were not expecting it, but our room had a nice kitchenette area with a counter, sink, microwave and fridge.  Our bathroom sparkled and had obviously been recently redone.  Did laundry at a local laundromat that was only a few blocks away, which worked out very well.  Nice and affordable stay on our way to Waterton!

Nice and affordable

The motel looks dated but the rooms are renovated and actually quite nice. This is a functional motel -- it has a fridge, microwave, coffee pot. Excellent for a jumping off spot while hiking in Waterton National Park. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The location is handy -- right along the highway to Waterton, and the prices are great. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place if you are stopping along the route.

Great stay, great price

This motel is situated on the road to Waterton National Park, we had doubts on arrival as to whether or not the room would be noisy as the main road is only 10 or 12 metres away. Our concerns were unfounded and the 2 nights we spent here were very good. Our queen room had a smart modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed.
 On the negatives, the room is very small and the kitchenette consists of a fridge with a microwave on top with an assortment of odd cutlery and crockery. None of the negatives impacted on our stay but the cutlery and crockery could be replaced and would improve a future stay immeasurably.
On the positives, the whole room was spotlessly clean, the front desk (owner) was very responsive to all our enquiries and it is excellent value for money and on the way to Waterton!

Excellent accommodation for the price

I’m not going to lie, I had certain doubts about staying in a motel, but my doubts disappeared once I stepped inside the room. Firstly, this motel is conveniently located in the Pincher Creek and it’s easily accessible from the main road to the town - third exit on the roundabout, just down the street. Room was smaller but it had all necessary amenities one would need to have a good stay. We had queen size bed, cable TV, fridge, microwave and office/dinning desk. Coffee maker was tricky, but we made it work. Bathroom had a tub with the shower head. Room had air conditioning. Overall impressively clean. We stayed two nights and had such a good sleep. We didn’t have any noise issues with neighbours or traffic outside so I cannot comment on walls being paper thin. Motel is on the route to Waterton National Park, 45 minutes drive from Pincher Creek and being way cheaper than Waterton, this was truly a lottery win. Even though we stayed on Friday 13, and motel being located on Elm Street, this was a very good stay.

Friday 13, Elm Street

My husband and I stayed here for two nights this spring and really enjoyed our Queen room. Understandably, it is nothing fancy, but the room was very clean, sheets and towels fresh, without any lingering bad smells that are common in motels, and it was honestly very quaint and cozy. The bed was comfy, bathroom clean, hot water in the shower and included a kitchenette with a toaster, coffee maker, mini fridge, utensils and some kitchen tools you might need during your visit. We didn't bring our pup along on this trip, but we were pleasantly surprised to find out that it is a pet friendly motel, so next time we come through town we will be bringing him with us! There was no lack of parking, generally very quiet, and the management was very welcoming and hospitable. We arrived early on a Saturday morning, and he allowed us to check in at 8:00 am so we could store our groceries that we had brought along, and then again allowed us a late check out! 
Overall, a surprisingly excellent experience! We will stay here again if we ever need to be in Pincher Creek, or even if we wanted to visit Waterton National Park (which is only 30 minutes away). Thanks for the great visit!
