Lacombe Motor Inn

The staff was especially helpful and pleasant.

Staff were super nice, rooms were nicely renovated, but the hallways and the stairways were quite dirty.

Lots of parking , large clean rooms and central lication.

We came down to celebrate for a night with friends and are so happy we stayed here. The room was super clean, the beds are extremely comfortable and the staff are so lovely and hospitable. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. We'd absolutely stay here again!

Not a lot to look at, but the bed was super comfy, the room was clean and the shower had great pressure!

We booked 1 night through with Expedia after doing much review on hotels in the area. Not the prettiest hotel but the beds and bedding were very nice, and the whole room was super clean. One of the things that attracted us to it was the free breakfast posted on their website. However, when we were checking in we were told there was no breakfast included (and no coffee pot in the room either), was told it was a "winter promotion only"... so don't be fooled by their website - call and make sure that is included if its a must for you. We also had a couple drinks in the bar before bed and the staff was great. Would definitely recommend if you are just needing a warm clean place to lay your head.

Had a great sleep - but make  sure you call and confirm if you want the "free breakfast"!

It's an older building, for sure and it's near a railway track. You might consider those a downside but honestly neither of those things bothered me at all. 
There was some noise from the train in the morning and every once in a while I could hear other people but it never seemed loud or intrusive - just other people around.
The building is cared for and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was nicely decorated (it was pretty!) and it had a microwave and fridge. I had one of the best sleeps of the year in that bed, too!
There's a grocery store across the parking lot which was really handy. Downtown was maybe 3 blocks away so it was handy to everything we wanted to visit like Cilantro & Chive and Hannah's Seeds.
Having the restaurant in the building was also really nice. The complimentary breakfast was an actual breakfast and I couldn't actually eat it all.

I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The hotel is clean with very friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast included in the rate is delicious and really helps put this little Inn over the top in value.  The only downside is the train tracks that run directly beside the Inn.  There were several trains that whistled beside the Inn during the night.

Clean space and friendly staff. They provided room cleaning and changed out wet towels which I haven't seen since COVID and sure appreciated. No elevator so quite a hike with my heavy suitcase and bags and child. Dated but everything worked (ie shower was hot and clean) and bed was comfy.  Appreciate the little fridge and microwave. Grocery store right next door.

This was the first time my wife and I stayed in this motel.  
The check in process was a little rude.  The lady checking us in questioned me 3 times about why my wife was still in the car and not coming in to the lobby. I had explained we were just checking in and then going to visit our daughter who lives in Lacombe.  (In my lifetime of hotel/motel stays I have never felt so interrogated).  To be honest I was going to cancel and find another hotel.
I am glad I didn’t cancel.  Once in our room it was very clean, (Ultimately clean and quiet is what matters most).
Everything smelled clean and appeared sanitized.  
Our Card/Key didn’t work when we returned after supper, so I had to call to have a new card.  The gentleman that came to assist was very pleasant and helpful.  Awesome, Thank you.
The next morning there was a knock on the door, and the same gentleman from the night before was there with Fresh Coffee and continental breakfast.  That was the nicest and most surprising event of our stay.
With our daughter who is expecting her first child in Mid April, my wife will be needing a motel room for a month so she can be close to, and help out when needed.  
I think we will get a room for the month at this motel.

Nice Clean Motel

Really enjoyed the friendly staff, cozy rooms and delicious breakfast! Would highly recommend to a friend! Everyone including pub patrons were so friendly, we enjoyed the lay out as well as the rooms were quiet, it backs on to a grocery store and drug store as well if your needing any last minute things.

Lovely small town comfort

Good place for an overnight stay. Clean with a comfortable bed! The air conditioner was pretty dated and stopped blowing cold air in the middle of the night, and the water pressure left something to be desired. But for the price and location, the comfort of the bed couldn't be beat.

The staff especially the manager were very friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast was very good. Very good value for money spent!

Great Value For Money Spent.

It needs some updating,  like new rugs but it looked like they were in the process of improvements.   The staff were excellent.
