Dengba satisfies for the rate. Smilung and helping staff. AC rooms are clean and cozy, and there is a kitchen too! You csn use it for a dollar. I am coming here to stay for a long time, anytime i am in siem reap, definitely recommended!

Rooms were good value. Rooms contain: Air conditioning, ceiling fan  warm water and proper beds.

Little away from the city centre, which is a good thing, very quiet at night.

Very warm people, we were invited for dinner spontaneously!

Could of got 5 but lost 1 star due to location, although a 20 min walk and your at pub street. The rooms are huge, fridge and aircon great, bathroom and shower also nice. Washing facilities are 1 dollar a time, which is for about 5kg! Little dog with a great attitude greets you every day! Owner couldn't be more helpful! Free cycling bikes, and 1 day they was all taken so he let us use his moped! And also invited us to eat with him when ever we liked! Would definitely stay here again as 10 dollars a night will get you nothing better in Siam reap!! We stayed in 2 other hostels in Siem reap, both more expensive and both not even close to being as nice!!!

Pleasant surprise!! In fact.. Little gem!

Nice cozy place

We came here to stay for 5 nights at all, mostly because of the good reviews at Booking.com, but we just looked at the points, not the reviews itself. In fact, the reviews are all made on one day with nearly no text and just above 9.0 points.
As we arrived in the evening, they left us wait for 15 minutes, then gave us a room we havent booked - not a big problem, because the guy who maybe is the "Boss" told us that we get the right room the next day.
The upper corners of the room where full of spiderwebs and the dust was everywhere. The worst thing was the bathroom that smelled like s...t - the toilet looked like nobody cleaning it for a long, long while.
On the next day, we could change the room and surprise, the spiderwebs where gone, but the dust still made his stand. The bathroom wasn't smelling - just because the toilet wasn't working. So we had to run to an empty room every time (that was suddenly closed over night!). Okay, i know, it's southeast asia, but this is the worst hostel/guesthouse/hotel we ever stayed in 1 year of travelling.
The Staff is sitting in die Lobby using the wi-fi while we couldn't connect to it. 

It could be such a great place to stay, it's a shame that the outdoor area, the rooms and the floors are so poorly cleaned and maintenanced. It all looks like no proper cleaning since years. In my opionion, it's a big lack in the leadership and pure laziness - and I mean not the lovely kind of laziness we faced in asia so far.
The owner is in addition not very friendly or welcoming. He book for you a tuk tuk or something else but before you have to search for him a long while.
We finaly left after our 3rd night!

But the air-con is working, the beds a mostly confy, there is free water and the price is not that bad if you like to stay at a place like these.

Booking.com reviews are fake!

The bathroom, which was dirty and seriously stained was never cleaned in the week I was there and judging by the stains for a while beforehand. I ended up cleaning it myself. Tap dripping was never fixed. Same trash in the bin as when I arrived. The kitchen, which they tried to CHARGE me for using and the common area, is the families living quarters and I was indirectly made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome eating or cooking there. They're always watching what you are doing, especially in the kitchen. Even though in the facilities list it says shared kitchen, they not happy when your using it. This area they keep clean. I wished they'd showed the same enthusiasm on the bathroom. Lots of Mosquitoes and Flies. One mini fridge for the whole hostel. No lockers. No toilet paper. No atmosphere. 1 km from restaurants/cafés. 2 km to the city centre. Moved hostels in the end.
The Chinese family who run the hostel were friendly ISH and tried to be helpful but out of the three, only one spoke very little English. Free drinking water. Free bicycle use. WiFi ok but not so good in the rooms. Kitchen?????????.
