This hotel is outstanding and world-class! My declaration does not come lightly because over the years, I have traveled to 57 different countries and 39 U.S. states…staying in some of the very best places - I’m “qualified” to say this.So, what makes this hotel special? Aside from its great location along the Tonle Sap river, close proximity to the Royal Palace, and immaculate grounds and facilities, it’s the Staff who make all of the difference. From the baggage porters to the doormen to the Front Desk personnel, to the waiters and waitresses to the chambermaids - they are all excellent! Absolutely First Class people who make you feel welcome and feel that your every wish is their command.This, I believe this is a reflection of their culture, their personal character, and their leadership. A rudderless ship goes nowhere, but this Staff understands its purpose and mission while on-duty, and they all carry out their responsibilities with great enthusiasm and dedication.For example, upon my arrival, Assistant FO Manager Khuon Pisey already knew my name, had me seated with a cool drink, and took care of the entire check-in without my ever having to leave that comfortable seat. I later asked her only once to do something for me and without taking written notes, she completed my request flawlessly. She had given me her fullest attention and then made sure it was all done correctly without my having to double check. This is the kind of service you can expect here. Perfection!
