138 reviewsUpon my arrival at Khmere Maison d’Angkor, I was already charmed by its atmosphere and lovely interior. Situated at the end of an alley right at one of the busiest roads in Siem Reap, the hotel is located behind a temple/monk’s residence. Siem Reap is busy and dusty, but as soon as I step into this hotel I instantly feel calm. Yes, this hotel is not your four five star hotels with super facility and big pool, but what it gains is its attentive and personal service, friendly staffs who greet you everytime you come back, and that you get to hang out around a monk’s residence. Some of the things staff do that makes me feel super comfortable: 1. Offers cold towel for my dust covered face everytime I come back 2. Once during a conversation, I casually mentioned I got bitten by mosquitoes in my room, they immediately took action by putting incense in my room. Only downside is that they don’t have a credit card machine. So carry cash! If you are sick of staying in cookie cutter hotels, please visit Khmere Maison d’Angkor.
