Amrita Apartments

After having had confirmation of a check in at 13.00 the room was not even cleaned .Not a good start! The apartment was much as described,the kitchen was very well equipped,oven,hob,kettle,toaster,fridge,separate freezer,washing machine but no microwave.Whilst there was plenty of cutlery, pots, pans and crockery were virtually non existent. The TV was a very old CRT set however the remote was missing. The air con remotes did not work either.Security reported the defects to the owner but nothing happened.I bought new batteries for the air con remotes and made do without the TV remote.(60+ channels-2 english-Euro News/CNN The bathroom was ok,the only problems being nowhere to hang towels and no shelf in the shower cabinet.Little things but they would make a great difference. There isn`t a reception as such,just a 24 hr security guard at the entrance.The guards were brilliant,their English was about on par with my Bulgarian,but with a mixture of hand waving ,facial expressions and a lot of laughter they sorted out any queries.
