I visited during a less touristic time. The place is very enjoyable, with a nice pool in the middle of the place, abundant vegetation, beautiful yellow birds and hammingbirds passing by, close to the "praya do amor". Breakfast was nice, with tapioca and eggs cooked for you on demand. For me, the best part was definitely the attention and support from the staff. They were very friendly all along. On the last morning, when the airport transfer didn't show up, they took up my case and settled the situation in Portuguese on my behalf with the (initially denying) agency, making sure I did not miss my flight. It's good to know there are still people you can count on.
