We have stayed twice now at Ale & Ivete's beautiful pousada and have loved it both times. The rooms are basic but full of character and always kept very clean. It also has a lovely garden with comfy beds and a kitchen/eating area. The Pousada is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Maresias and the amazing beach. However my favourite thing about our stay both times has been Ale & Ivete's company - they will respect your privacy if that is what you are looking for. However, they are both incredibly friendly and will be more than happy to give you tips for things to do and places to see nearby. And if you ask him nicely, Ale may even do one of his great barbecues for you! Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Maresias.
