58 reviewsI was actually there August 6-9, 2018. This place is absolutely beautiful! It is a little difficult to get up the mountain.....so I recommend a 4 wheel drive SUV/truck. But once you are there.....it is amazing! The owner even offered to go to the store for us once a day so we didn't have to drive it again. The waterfalls were REALLY amazing! It is cold water but amazing. The pool is a bit chilly but great on a hot day and VERY clean. I can't say enough about the owner's hospitality. She PERSONALLY cooked the meals or had some close staff make EVERYTHING homemade! It was some of the BEST Brazilian food in my life. I loved the hike to the waterfalls! The owner was the SWEETEST woman I ever met. My Portuguese language was awful....but she was patient with me....and I had my Brazilian wife Rivana with me there to interpret. This is a place for relaxation! There is miles/km of hiking, beautiful waterfalls, hammocks, and everything else for people who love nature. This is not a resort for excitement. This is a place to meditate, hike, become one with nature, and eat some DELICIOUS food. Every night she had a delicious meals, along with games and other fun low key activities. This is not a party place....even though she had some good beer. This is a place for couples or relaxation. It took me awhile to get used to the calmness....but I really appreciated it! I am from New Jersey in the USA. I never seen so much natural beauty before. PS.....Try to get your supplies before you head up the mountain.
