an excellent base for exploring Cartagena. The rooms vary in size, but all are well appointed with comfortable beds and huge bathrooms. The minibar is stocked with complementary bottled water and soft drinks. Some rooms have private terraces. Before ending, I should talk about the restaurant and food, it was fabulous, loved their china and crystal the crisp white linens and soft background music, it was all perfect, service though was hit or miss, mostly hit, but there should always be consistency, in a hotel restaurant, as you're going to most likely see guests more then once. Breakfast was what one would expect, BUT be on time and not show up 15 min before breakfast concludes, as replenishing doesn't happen. After many long hot humid day's exploring, we chose to ordered room service at least 3 evenings for dinner, and room service was better then expected, they provide in room dinning just as if you were down in the restaurant, simply love. I highly recommend the hotel have an excellent service.
