 The carpets need to be cleaned, please put the humidifier to clear the air so there isnt as much dust. The staff was wonderful, the location is great, the place just needs some redecoration and the carpets please, they need to be cleaned. 

My stay at Cresta Botsalo

The rooms were spacious and neat with good colors blending with the bedsheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety of choices! The staff were attentive and friendly including the security guard by the gate. 

Good quality service and friendly staff

There is need to upgrade the facility and inherent services expected. This is in comparison to other Cresta Facilities known across the country, as well as other hospitality businesses offering the same service. 

The facility is in an excellent location, but the quality of the facility is rather compromised.

I had a great stay. The staff were friendly. But I believe the rooms could be upgraded. They are of great quality, however, other Cresta hotels have branded and the experience is so great. Otherwise it is a great Hotel

Having used other Cresta hotels- Botsalo remains one that does not meet my expectations. To remain relevant and take it to the standard of Mahalapye Cresta by taking care of basics like changing carpets. 

Expectation not met

Cretsa Lodge, it's in a calm vicinity but very far from Gaborone. It's a good get away. The staff are serviable. The bed is very comfortable. Here are things the lodge could provide for its guest: slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, bathtub plastic mat, bathrobe & enough storage area for clothes. 

A little lodge in a calm area

A comparative review here might help fellow travellers. Having stayed at Cresta Mahalapye and Cresta Botsalo  (Palapye), which are both functional for travellers as roadside stopovers, my preference is Cresta Mahalapye for a couple of reasons. To be fair I gathered that Cresta Botsalo is a 2star and the Mahalapye one is a 3star, however my evaluation lies with my experience of both.
1. Outward appearance: Cresta looks way better and has a clean look to it.
2. Location: Cresta Mahalapye is in an uncluttered area and near a shopping mall where you can find the commonly known SA shops.
3. The Cresta Mahalapye rooms had a more fresher (found liquid stains on the rug at Cresta Palapye which could just be the one room) look although the decor is similar.
4. Both are small hotels, but the Cresta Mahalapye reception area is roomier. 
5. Ratewise both could go a little lower… they have that neat roadside motel feel.

Functionality: long trip stopovers

Excellent service with very patient and welcoming staff.
Clean rooms and good food
Very convenient in terms of town and shopping centers and other public facilities
The hotel has very good WIFI suitable for any kind of work

CRESTA BOTSALO FEEDBACK REVIEW

There were times I needed help in the Conference room and it took a while to be assisted, so I suggest in future the relevant staff be much more responsive.
The carpet in the room I stayed in, Room 119, had very visible stains which I think thorough cleaning would have taken care of.
