Cosy Palms Guest House

I had Room 3 for seven nights - more than adequate for my needs. Huge double bed, lovely shower, tv, working air conditioning and patio door opening to the pool. Staff were very welcoming and happy to help out with everything I needed - taxis, extra towels, take aways etc, and the room was cleaned very well each day. Strong wifi signal all week and it was free! The place is not huge, hence the name 'cosy' but there is enough space for relaxing and reading outside and inside and the location means Pick n Pay and a mall are close by for little bits of shopping. I didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment on this, but overall my stay was very, very relaxing. Would recommend and will stay here again.

Everything is new. Excellent location in quiet neighborhood. Very safe and secure. Good breakfast.

Conveniently located, not far from the centre and shopping malls (taxi 30 Pula). Stayed here for 1 week. Owners live on the premises and are very friendly. Fridge in the room. A dip in the clean pool after a working day is very rewarding. 

Our group met in Gaborone after travelling from various destinations in Southern Africa and from Europe and for last preparations before heading into Botswana. No frills but practical. One night only. Very friendly staff. Would stay again.

Chose to stay at Cozy Palms while attending a conference at the Grand Palm which is nearby. Cozy Palms itself is fine, and the staff and manager very helpful. A basic motel-style place with cooked breakfast. Wifi was very slow with drop outs. The proprietor picked me up from the airport (arranged in advance) and also took me back there for my departure, with a stop on the way at the craft shop to get some (good) souvenirs. Definitely Cozy - just 6 rooms. There is nothing special about the neighbourhood round the guest-house - you are in Gaborone suburbs here. There is a shopping centre across the nearby main-road junction that provides a few amenities. I can recommend Dros for an evening meal  (though it is a 25 minute walk - see below).However, the walk out and up to the Grand Palm was not as easy as hoped. First, there is no direct way out from Cozy Palms to the main road - its a 15 minute walk just to get round to the other side of the wall on Molepolole Road. Then the walk up to Grand Palm is a bit desolate, with just scrubland either side. OK in the day, but definitely not recommended after dark. The guest-house will arrange a taxi for you - cost anywhere from 40-100 pula depdning on the mood of the driver that you get.

Relaxing seven nights in a cosy and affordable guest house...

New hotel in quiet location

Friendly relaxed place

Practical, well priced and clean.

Stayed here for two days with my GF and her sister. The rooms are cosy and ok for cleanliness. 
The yard is maintained to some extent.  The pool needs some work and it was really dirty and neglected.
The patio furniture was also neglected,  dusty and not clean. 
The customer service was good, the ladies at reception did their best to ensure we had a good stay. Violet was the best as she meet out needs with a smile. 

If you need breakfast, you have to order the day before at P90/person.
 You better off eating out at nearby malls Molapo Crossing Mall and Airport Junction.
Oh checkout is at 10am😕


Cosy but could be better

Cozy, though not picturesque

The rooms were very basic, and the breakfast was poor.
Staff were not very welcoming but helpful in arranging a lift to the airport.
Hard to access the pool as a group of males dominated the use.
Did not live up to the ''cosy' part of the name at all.

We booked via booking.com and traveled from South Africa, one we arrived they told us they are fully booked. And the receptionist was utterly useless and couldn't care less. 
There are way better places to stay than this place. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Absolutely shocking

We booked 3 rooms for the 6 of us via booking.com and verified with cosy palms and confirmed that we will be arriving within 2 hours since we were traveling from South Africa ( we arrived at the property around 11pm).
Upon arrival we were told that the property was fully booked, the receptionist couldn't care less what would happen to us after that.This was a horrific  experience and the lack of assistance from the receptionist really took the cup. I would never recommend this property to a soul. We were extremely disappointed.
The least they could have done was to find us alternative accommodation.

Disappointing

I booked a night at this hotel since they advertise a free airport shuttle. However, when I contacted them to arrange this I was told that there is no shuttle and that nothing could be arranged. I then asked for a refund instead so that I could book a room elsewhere, which the hotel agreed to but they then were unreachable by Expedia for a week in order to confirm the refund. The hotel finally answered the phone calls from Expedia and I got my refund,  but the hotel management was not easy to deal with and I would not book here.
