Hands down best hostel we have stayed in across Europe-no exaggeration!Mehmet (owner) is so accommodating and goes above and beyond for his guests-thanks so much to you and your family for ensuring our time in Sarajevo was so amazing!The hostel is in the best location (centre of Sarajevo close to bars,restaurants and main sights),very modern,bathrooms and common areas are super clean,bedrooms have all the amenities (air con & power points),wifi throughout whole hostel including bedrooms and complimentary tea and coffee!Without a doubt choose Hostel Cult for your stay in Sarajevo!

The best located hostel in Sarajevo, it's right in the middle of Ferhadija Street (which is the main pedestrian cafe shopping street). Even though it is near busy cafes and restaurants, inside the hostel it is very quiet, I had great long sleeps every night. The host Mehmet is remarkably accommodating, nothing is a trouble to him, his welcoming persona really makes this hostel a home away from home. We loved him! He arranged a private tour to the Olympic mountains/war tunnel and also a rafting trip in Konjic. We have travelled for 102 days straight now and this place is at the top of the tree. Book now.

First of all - the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, no matter when! Location is great, even public transport is very close. The rooms (at least the one we had) are small but neat. Coffee (instant) /tea /water is free - nice extra! 
But most important thing: the staff. All of them are so friendly and helpful - whether we asked for laundry service or advice what to do in town or on our trip, they always helped organizing something and were very eager to do the best possible. They make Hostel Cult a good choice for a stay in Sarajevo.

Perfect location on the main pedestrian street a few seconds away from Baščaršija. Incredibly clean for a hostel. Very quiet and relaxing, it's not a party hostel for loud groups.  The only negative point is the lack of windows, but although I'm a bit claustrophobic it didn't bother me at all. Maybe a bit expensive. But it was high season

Best hostel is Sarajevo!!!

It's super clean, wifi works in rooms...

I wish I had stayed at another location. While it is situated in the perfect spot, let me make this as simple as possible . . . don't stay here if you are looking for a nice atmosphere. I was debating just leaving my review at that, but that doesn't help people. Without being mean to this business or degrading, because it did most things right, it just simply was not as advertised. Air conditioning (I travelled here when it was 100 degrees F (40 C) outside and very humid), they would NOT turn it on, and I asked three different people working numerous times. The rooms, as you may not know, have no windows, so get stuffy very fast. On the third time, when I asked the host, he became annoyed with me and said he could not turn it on. I didn't know why, until later the other host said that it was simply too loud. (I don't think it is the hosts in general, I think it is some sort of rule they follow from the owner, as they all seemed trained with the same answer, but this is speculation) I found this ironic since the host was concurrently blasting a soap opera that echoed down the hallway just as loud. So, okay, no problem, it's a hostel right? I propped open my door to let the cool air in from the hallway, but then the host, sweeping the hallway, came and said that I was not allowed to keep the door open. He slammed it closed. Okay, so now what I could say about this hostel was that it simply was lacking one thing: hospitality, which is generally what you seek in a hostel. They are new, seem to not understand how to run a hostel, but only a business to make money. The facilities were very clean, SO CLEAN in fact that I found them rushing in after I used any room to clean it, as if sweeping behind my feet (perhaps this was because he already disliked me from pestering him about the air, who knows). It was uncomfortable. No matter how nice or mean I am in my review, nothing can make up that this place needs to learn how to interact and be the kind of environments that most hostels are. It is clean, sparse, and silent enough to hear my own breathing echo down the hallway, basically: if you want a hot and stuffy dorm similar to one found in the Hunger games, then stay here. On a nicer note, I'm sure it would be better in winter.
