Out of town but we loved that part of it. Felt nice to have a relaxing quiet area to come home to or spend a leisurely day. Most of our tours were handled by Suya tours and we were able to be picked up at our dock for all of them. The guides were so friendly and helpful! The concierge Richard handled most everything for us before we even arrived. Management was always around insuring everyone had what they needed and that  you were enjoying your stay! Highly recommend Hol Chan and Suya tours! Can’t wait for our next visit!

Great 6 days at Hol Chan Reef Resort. Well cared for property, large 3 bedroom unit with full kitchen and excellent AC. Loved the pool and beach loungers + hammock on the dock. Our snorkeling tour boat scooped us up directly from our dock. 15 min golf cart ride up a bumpy unpaved road…annoying on day 1 but kinda became fun and part of the adventure.

We loved our stay at Hol Chan Reef Resort. We arrived before check-in and enjoyed time in the hammocks on the dock until the room was ready. The rooms were clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and the property was well-maintained. They arranged our flights, taxi to the hotel, and golf cart rentals. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction - they helped us on several occasions with additional arrangements and last-minute changes.  We booked two Suya Tours and both were excellent. We were there during peak mosquito season, so they hosed down our balcony daily but it remained unusable - perhaps reserve a lower-level apartment during the season as the mosquitos tend to cluster along the top floor. Town was a short 5-10 golf cart trip away - and there were several great restaurants nearby including Palmetto and Someplace South.

We frequent Ambergris Caye often and like to hop around.  I brought my wife, my two boys, and three of their friends this time so we needed a BIG place.  Unit 1E was exactly what we were looking for.  It's a good ride from town, but my boys wanted a "chill" place to unwind after another semester of college.  You will need a golf cart so you can get the taste of San Pedro and the vibe of the island, but it was another great stay on AC.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit San Pedro, Belize and stay at the Hol Chan Reef Resort and Villas. I was not completely prepared for the extra flight from the main airport to the island however Sandra Gutierrez and her team took care of all my needs and made us feel at home. They had our golf cart waiting and even a local phone to use while we were there. The team was always accessible and took care of all our needs, not to mention the 3 bedroom condo was magnificent.

I really don't know where to start. We found this condo on VRBO, and within less than 24 hours after booking we heard from Sandra who offered us her concierge services. She booked our flight to Ambergris Caye, and our golf cart rental. She also booked our ride from the airport to the condo.  She also connected us with Richard, from Suya tours who was incredibly helpful on answering some questions we had. When we landed, Manolo was there to drive us to the condo, and even offered to stop at a local store for us to get coffee for the next morning.  When we arrived, both Sandra and Richard were there to greet us, even though it was later in the evening. Sandra showed us around the condo, gave us an amazing recommendation for dinner (Black Orchid) and even showed us how to use the golf cart. 

We stayed on the first floor, every morning we sat out on our patio and drank coffee while enjoying the view of the pool and gorgeous ocean.  The pools are refreshing and very clean. Everything about the grounds are so well cared for. It's a gorgeous resort. Condo very clean, well stocked with everything we needed. 

You just can't be the beauty of this location, but what made it stand above and beyond was the customer service. Sandra gave us some great recommendations, and she was so responsive to every single thing we asked and needed. When we ran into her at one of the local restaurants, she greeted us like old friends!  Richard is one of the friendliest people I've ever met, and it was a joy to hear him talk about the different excursions available.  We loved every part of staying at Hol Chan Reef Resort & Villas. We are already planning to come back for my 50th birthday celebration next year.

This place was exactly we we were looking for.
Very comfortable. Sandra and Richard were amazing took care of our transportation and food needs. I definitely would come and stay again . The hospitality was everything.

We spent a week at Hol Chan and everything was perfect!  It is a little out of the way but that is what we were looking for.  The concierge Sandra is the sweetest, kindest person and very attentive to our needs.  She checked us in and out at our convenience.  She is quick to answer questions and help with any need.  She arranged a taxi for our departure. We had an air conditioner go out and it was replaced the very next day.  The condo is well stocked, beds are fabulous and views are breathtaking!   We also had a day snorkeling tour and the picked us up right on our dock.  Highly recommend.

We stayed here for a week. The condo was clean. Sandra was helpful and a delightful to work with. She answered any questions we had. Richard was also very helpful. He helped us to arrange tours and told us about things happening in the area. The container bar, Stax, across the street from the condo has great food and cocktails. We would come and stay again.

Beautiful condos! We stayed on the 2nd floor. The units are large; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a large kitchen with everything you need to cook. The washer and dryer was an added bonus! The balcony overlooked the 2 swimming pools and gorgeous views of the Caribbean. Sandra, the concierge was great, friendly staff all around and the grounds and pool are meticulously kept. Kudos to Suya Tours property management! Highly recommend!

This resort and the staff are incredible!! We had an absolutely amazing experience here!! We traveled with our 3 younger children here and they were so accommodating…from helping us plan out what we wanted to do, helping with those arrangements, and to helping with anything we possibly needed…Sandra is absolutely incredible!! She is there at your arrival and departure and anytime you need her!! We planned a wedding/vow renewal at the resort and honestly Sandra went above and beyond to help make it a perfect day!!! I can’t thank Sandra and Hol Chan enough!! They helped make memories we will have the rest of our lives!!! We couldn’t have asked for more!! And we will definitely be returning as soon as we can!!! Besides they feel more like friends now than just staff!
