Rainbow Hotel

The hotel was very central, staff is lovely…. I would definitely stay there again.. the beach could use a refresh

Fantastic!  Beautiful family run business.  Grounds were well kept.  Felt welcomed and at home.  Was bummed when we had to go.  Lots of humming birds and other birds around.  I didn’t get to see a Toucan but they frequent the property.  Other places to stay around the area but if you are looking for a relaxing stay this is the place.  They also offer a car rental for $70 US a day.  They have a kitchen run by ROSE the mother and her daughter.  Brilliant food.  (Only for their guests) We only ate their food while staying in the cabins.  If you are into cool plants they have many.

The staff was great! They were very helpful and kind. The room was bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures, which is always a nice surprise! It was spotless, too! It’s in the perfect location, code to everything and just a couple of blocks from the “city center” so it was quiet to sleep.

This hotel was a lovely bargain right across the street from the beach.  Comfortable room, nice amenities and Ernie at the front desk was a gem and a great communicator before I even arrived.  Nice restaurants within walking distance as well as the ferry terminal.  The only reason I gave it a lower grade on the eco-conscious area was that I really didn’t need my towels washed daily but there was no sign to hang on the door.

My mom and I had a great experience staying at this very cute family owned hotel! It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. We loved the fresh towels and bottled water everyday. The A/C worked great. The location has a great view and there were two excellent places for breakfast less than a minute’s walk away. 
Ernesto and Minerva were so friendly. And listen to this- my mom had lost her phone somewhere between the airport and the water taxi on the mainland so Ernesto called someone he knew at the airport to ask them to try to locate it. The phone was in airplane mode so we couldn’t track it. 2 days later Ernesto came to tell us the great news that they had found the phone! We were able to pick it up on our way out, at the airport! He was our hero!

Spacious clean rooms in an excellent location.  Coffee shop across the street. Close to the ferry. The owner is extremely helpful and kind. You have a nice view of the ocean and sunrise, however  its not a good area to swim. There is a beautiful beach a short walk away. We swam there everyday.

The locacion was very convenient. Close to everything but this comes with a cost. The karaoke bar next to the premises may disturb you for a few hours. The staff incredibly helpful .The rooms really clean and safe.

If I come back to Caye Caulker I will stay at Rainbow Hotel.Location ,room condition,staff excellent.

Great value!

Cute, clean, comfy & close to everything!

Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, decent bathrooms with plenty of towels, very good housekeeping. We slept well - this location is as quiet as anywhere on the strip. Bicycle rental available onsite. Five minutes walk from the split, maximum ten minutes walk to anywhere else. Manager Ernesto is extremely welcoming and helpful.

Clean, comfortable, great location

This was a really great place to stay.  Not far from the water taxi (we could easily walk there with our rolling luggage) and in the middle of everything.  Our hosts were so friendly and recommended wonderful restaurants and snorkeling.  The hotel has its own beach area which is nice with hammocks as well.  I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for the week and had a great visit to Cay Caulker.  The hotel is owned by a great family.  The rooms were clean and A/C was great.  Right near their family restaurant and dive/snorkeling shop.  Small grocery store right next door and everything else was within walking distance.  I can't say enough good things about our stay with them.

Perfect location on the beach, middle of town on the Main Street. Restaurant (part of this motel) is across the street right on the beach over the water. Good food and daily specials.We were a late getting to check in but the  motel manager/owner was waiting for us and no problem!A little noisy some nights but we were in bed early and up early to fish. Worked out beautifully, our guide picked us up on the dock across the street.

It is in a strategic part of town which is accessible to everything and which has its own little beach and restaurant across the road. The Manager can arrange a golf cart taxi pickup or ride to and from airport/ferry for $5 US. Air Con worked great - and it was nice to have a fridge and microwave, although I had to buy a plate as there wasn’t one so I could eat my leftovers from restaurants. Comfy bed and pillows. It was very clean which for me is one of the most important features to look for. Nice toiletries for hair were available.

Comfortable and clean

Place is right in front of the beach and near many restaurants and bars.  You can easily find excursion stands to book an adventure.  Room was clean for the most part,  there were a few ants that came out near the kitchenette and bathroom counter.  Staff was nice and welcoming.  There is no reception desk after 4pm however they are reachable by phone.  I would stay here again because of location alone.

Great location with a store 20 feet away, as well as a coffee stand, smoothies, regular food and lots of touristy stands. Quick check in and out. Unfortunately they were doing construction during the time we were there. However, Rainbow had a great interior with nice showers, blessed AC and free waters and coffee! Highly recommend!
