Writing to reservations requesting information and placement of unit, Maribel Acosta immediately not only answered all questions but with a friendliness and warmth that prevailed the entire trip and set the stage for the most amazing stay. Grand Colony Island Villas are beautiful! Location could not be better, placed on one of the nicest beaches in all of Belize. Units very large and very clean. Furnishings are well above "hotel grade" taking on an "exclusive villa" appearance. Kitchen was well stocked with all the items you may need. All 3 bedrooms were wonderful sanctuaries for restful sleep. The huge wrap around balcony overlooking the beach was our favorite spot in the morning for coffee, and in the evening for the sunset cocktail. All the above being said, the best part of our stay was the remarkable staff lead by Maribel Acosta. They treated us as if we were beloved members of their family, always greeted with a smile, always offering their services, who could possibly ask for more? Even after our departure, Maribel reached out to thank us for our stay. Who does this!!! It is with very fond memories that we look to return to this amazing island jewel. Paradise in Belize!
