Het Godshuis hotel

What a surprise when we (4) pulled up outside this massive and impressive building. The car park, which is huge, was pretty full. Lucky for us there was a space available right by the entrance as one of the party is an invalide and has limited mobility. We were welcomed and directed to our rooms. They were spacious, clean and very comfortable. A book on the history of the building was made available on the table in the room. We overlooked the school playground- which was actually very cheerful, all the laughter. And seeing we weren't in the room all day, not a disturbing element. The position of this establishment is ideal if one wants to visit Belgium or the Netherlands (the province Zeeland). The staff were helpful, courteous and yes, diverse in nationality. Dutch and English being the spoken languages by staff. It didn't provide us with any negative issues. We enjoyed our stay, the meals and the atmosphere. Love buildings with a story.
