Six of us booked into this hotel on our visit to Wally's Farm one Saturday night. 
We will never forget the warm welcome we received from both Wally and Patty.
We were not disappointed in the accommodation as it was spotlessly clean and the beds really comfortable in large rooms.
Everything to do with the breakfast was first class...including home made jam...lovely.
The secure parking  opposite belonging to the hotel is a bonus.
Would we return?
A definite ...YES!

SPOTLESSLY CLEAN, WONDERFUL BREAKFAST, FIRST CLASS TWO STAR HOTEL

We stayed here for one night, during our tour of Belgium. We arrived at a night of travelling theatre for the town, very suggestive, then ended in a grill of sandwiches with salamander outside the hotel. Very kind and really caring people towards us. We were given the Renè room and we liked it a lot. Warm, cozy and quiet despite the traffic on the road. Kindness and relaxation

Stayed here 2 nights in May of 2013 The B&B is owned by husband and wife, Wally and Patty. It also serves at their home. The building is a former customs house on the border between Belgium and France. Each room is named for a customs agent who used to work there. We stayed in the Rene room which had a view overlooking the street. The room was equipped with cable TV, wifi and a refrigerator. The building has an elevator which is great since the rooms are all upstairs. The room was very comfy with nice towels and bedding, an updated bathroom and shower. Breakfast is served on the first floor in a lovely room that overlooks the patio behind the building. Wally and Patty have a very cute dog who is usually out on the patio looking cute. Breakfast consisted of eggs made-to-order by Patty, fruit, yogurt and assorted breads, meats and cheeses. A very fine breakfast, indeed. 

Other attractions close by include Wally's Farm and St Bernardus Brewery. There's also a beer shop nearby and the Lijssenthoek Military Museum. There's a De Lijn bus stop just outside the B&B making it easy to reach from Poperinge even if you don't have a car.  You can also rent bikes in Poperinge. Lots to explore in the area by bike. 

We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!
