Nice hotel with a beautiful view, good place to take a walk and enjoy nature.
Rooms were nice and clean, could youse a little renovation.
Restraunt was modern and the food was very good and cheap.
the staff was friendly and helpfull.

we stayed in this hotel for over 10 or 15 times the last 20 years. we love the little village of Achouffe, the brewery, and this hotel. They updated the rooms and they look very nice. The food is great and the people who run the hotel are very warm and lovely people. We use this hotel to recover for a few days, it's only 3 hours form our hometown of Amsterdam. the area is nice if you like outdoor sports, like hiking, mountain-biking and canoeing.

We stayed at the hotel and also dined here for dinner (we've reviewed the restaurant separately). We stayed in a family room, with bunk beds for the kids and queen for the parents. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. WiFi worked great throughout the hotel. The kids loved being outside, watching the horses and goats. The hotel is in a lovely rural setting, with lovely views across the forest from the dining room. Breakfast was great - huge bread basket and a choice of omelet or boiled eggs, as well as a selection of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt and cereals. You are also welcome to sit in the lounge area at anytime and enjoy a drink and of course you should at least sample the beer brewed at the local Brasserie A'Chouffe! This is a family run hotel and we found the team to be very friendly and helpful.

Ivo and Anja have made this quiet little hotel, in a small (make that tiny) village in the Ardennes, a retreat to relax and enjoy peace and quiet.  The rural character of the surroundings will allow you to unwind in no time at all.  We sat on the patio enjoying the local beers and listened to birds, farm animals and the wind blowing through the trees.  Ivo is a self-taught chef who creates some really fine dishes as well.  Should we travel through this area in the future we will surely stay here again.

Nice hotel in great surroundings

Pleasant

During our hike the kids, and ourselves, we getting hungry. As all restaurants in Achouffe were closed we visited this place. 

As nothing on the menu is especially tailored for kids and also because the staff was unwilling to produce a simple sandwich we just finished our drinks and were on our way.

Probaly this place is very good for some target groups but we did not feel welcome at all!
